A comfortable stay; good beds/bedding. Shower in room 3 bathroom is a little odd; need to be able to take a big step in/out and shower head is awkward to work with. Still workable!! Breakfast was nice; breakfast lady…..lovely! Convenient opportunity to checkin and checkout online. Ate a light dinner in the restaurant. Would have had to pay for water; I think not!!!

Our balcony had an amazing view. The staff were helpful and the restaurant had great food. Our only drawback was getting our luggage up the steep staircases to our 2nd floor room.

Basic hotel accommodations adequate for our needs. Breakfast was good with choices of croissants, bread with assortment of cheeses & ham, fresh fruits, etc. The only downside was the rather narrow shower-tub and it’s raised height above the floor due to an upgrade made it a little difficult to get out.

There’s a good spread of breakfast which was filling and helped jumpstart the day. The room we were in had a stunning view of the Matterhorn. It was a great stay the four nights were there. Would definitely stay there again if and when we come back to the area.
What a magical experience it was to see the Matterhorn from our window.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Zermatt. Breakfast and service were excellent and our room had an incredible view of the Matterhorn (when it wasn’t covered by clouds). Very easy walk from the train station and close to restaurants and the station to go to Blauherd/Sunnegga. Would absolutely stay here again.

Conveniently located in Zermatt, but then everything in Zermatt is walkable because they allow no vehicle traffic. Quaint, rustic Swiss charm but has everything for a comfortable stay. Daily breakfast was very nice. Staff are extremely attentive. We picked this because it was one of the more economical places to stay in a VERY expensive town. We lacked for nothing but note the rooms are small and there is no elevator. That said, the view from our room was spectacular.

Great place~

Great staff, perfect location along river, yet 2 blocks off main street- so not noisy! We also had a view of the Matterhorn right out our door to our balcony!

We loved this place!

We stayed in room 4 and had a huge balcony with an awesome view of the Matterhorn. Location was perfect. We had a little confusion when checking in (it's really a self check-in), so we went to the restaurant to see if they could help us. All were so gracious and wonderful. They also have a special dinner offer for guests, which we did on our second night. Food was delicious, service exceptional. The room was nice, with a view of the mountain from your bed. We really enjoyed our stay, and are hoping to return next year.
