Overall not a bad experience. Room smelled like someone left food in there before us. Had to ask for 2 bath towels because we were 4 people but only got pool towels. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice

Nice folks on staff. The room itself was fine. But the bed ( clean and new enough) was miserably hard and the pillows were small. If you like a hard bed, you'll like this hotel.

Clean, customer service was good. I got the king double room. Unfortunately the air conditioner couldn’t keep the room cool as I’d like. 92’ degrees July 4th and it just ran all day long and was also on the 3rd floor. The elevator is relatively slow. The breakfast wasn’t any good. Bread, sausage links,powdered scrambled eggs, very unimpressed by all means. Next morning was no different. Breakfast starts at 7 and yet it wasn’t ready. I also saw a lot of transients staying there which I didn’t really expect that for being a fairly nice hotel. So for the price and what I received I feel like I didn’t get what I paid for.

Terrible Experience – Do Yourself a Favor and Book Elsewhere We had an awful stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Columbus East. From the moment we walked into our room, it reeked of sewage. We tried to tough it out, thinking it would go away, especially after showering and running water—but the smell never left. When we called the front desk, we were told to “just run the water,” despite having already done so. The response felt dismissive and unhelpful. The room itself was not well-kept, and the overall condition of the hotel felt neglected. On top of that, the staff was rude and unaccommodating throughout our stay. The parking lot also didn’t feel safe, with several people roaming around at all hours. We ended up checking out two nights early because we simply couldn’t take it anymore. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money somewhere else—you’ll thank yourself later.

The room was clean but did have a very strong pet/cat pee odor. The staff was as accommodating as possible with providing Febreze but they were fully booked so another room was not possible.
