We stayed here for five nights and enjoyed several things about the property. The panoramic views are beautiful, the main living areas and kitchen are very spacious, and the master and kids’ rooms were comfortable. The fireplaces were a nice touch, the fridge was clean, and the washer/dryer were convenient. Our host was also very responsive and communicative throughout our stay, which we appreciated.That said, the home would benefit from more consistent maintenance and a more thorough cleaning. Some fixtures and features appear worn or broken from over the years, such as certain lights, kitchen shelves, knobs, and the outdoor twinkle lights. The indoor hot tub lacked a faucet, and the main hot tub was not very clean. The oven broiled but did not bake, and the dishwasher (we didn’t use it) had mold inside.We also noticed some cleanliness issues on arrival, including dead flies on window sills and grease left on the kitchen counters. The mattresses had stains and no protective covers, and the landscaping golf area and pond area outside looked neglected.Overall, the house has a lot of potential thanks to its space, layout, and views, but it could use some love and attention to upkeep. With better maintenance and cleaning, it would be a much stronger stay.
