From the moment of arrival, the team was warm, gracious, and quietly efficient, creating a sense of effortless luxury that many five-star properties aim for but few achieve. The General Manager is clearly a strong leader — their presence is felt in the seamless service, attention to detail, and the team’s genuine hospitality. Every interaction, from front desk to housekeeping, was handled with professionalism and warmth. The location is unbeatable for wine country exploration, yet what truly makes North Block special is its ability to feel both elevated and intimate — a peaceful retreat with a pulse. North Block Hotel is a true gem in Yountville—stylish, peaceful, and perfectly located. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with spa-like bathrooms and thoughtful details throughout. A special shoutout to Davis, whose service was absolutely exceptional. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The on-site restaurant was also a highlight—delicious California cuisine and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!

Great amenities - free breakfast, free wine happy hour, free whiskey social, daily sweets left in room, a great hotel that goes above and beyond. As for what to improve, I would day the thermostat stops at 67 degrees..my wife and I like it a little colder and we'd like it the AC would get down to that level.
