¡Un hogar encantador con historia y un ruidoso arroyo de truchas justo afuera de tu puerta! Esta casa de dos habitaciones, tres baños y medio tiene dos habitaciones con camas king size más un futón en el desván, así como una bañera de hidromasaje en la suite principal y una bañera de hidromasaje para cuatro en la cubierta trasera. Con tres porches, dos de ellos con vista a Brasstown Creek, hay muchos lugares afuera para disfrutar de las vistas y el aire de la montaña.

Encontrará mecedoras y columpios en el porche en dos de los porches junto con asientos adicionales junto a una chimenea y un pozo de fuego de piedra cerca del arroyo. Mientras esté afuera, asegúrese de notar el viejo camino de la diligencia que atraviesa la propiedad cerca del arroyo. Este camino va de Young Harris a Murphy, Carolina del Norte, y estaba tan abarrotado que no crecen árboles en este viejo camino.

Hineymoon away

This cabin was perfect fornour honeymoon. Not only wad it decorated for christmas, it was in the perfect location to stay in or fund new adventures around. Centrally located to a lot of major towns. We love the large creek and porches in the morning and at night. Host had great communication. Would stay here again.

Nice weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Hunker Down. The hottub and stream were very relaxing. Only downside was that we couldn't figure out any of the tvs and couldn't watch the Georgia game.

Great for families or couples

House is very beautiful and peaceful. Super quiet, zero distractions, comfy beds, hot water and just overall nice. We were coming as a family but eneded up just being me and my wife. House is a little much for just the two of us we never even went to the 3rd floor but we wanted a king bed. The home did not disappoint. Everymorning we ended up outside for about 2 hours listening to creek and forgot how the time passed. Our only issue which wasnt really a home issue was the driveway which was a little hairy to traverse luckily we brought a truck instead of our car. Me and my wife were very pleased with home. We even starting planning the next trip back with more family and start looking at property for ourselves

So peaceful and relaxing.

Loved the stay. The pool table was warped so we didn't get to use it but overall we had such a great time. The views were so beautiful! The creek was beautiful and peaceful. We were 30 mins from great trails and falls. I would recommend this cabin to anyone with children, this cabin got my teenagers off of there phones. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!

Lovely Anniversary Weekend.

Our stay was very nice. It had a great location for driving to Hiawassee and Helen. Beautiful views in the morning looking out at the creek. Very cozy bed and loved the living room and hot tub! Would definitely stay at Hunker Down a second or third time.

The cabin was very pretty and nicely kept! The heat was a little funky in the master bedroom and the driveway is not made for any car low to the ground but overall it was a great location and we really loved it! The unfinished basement with all the games was definitely a nice plus as well!

Relaxing Getaway

This is a great property near a nice lakeside town. Being beside the creek was so relaxing with everything we needed right on the property. Checking in and out was seamless, the home was clean and comfortable, and it was easy to get to without a 4WD/AWD. Thanks for sharing your home!

Girl's trip

Great time with friends with a little cabin in the woods. The creek just below us was extra special, listening to the flow of the creek from the porch. We made a short drive to both Hiawasee and Blairsville. Just a very relaxing getaway!

Peace by the creek

We loved this beautiful cabin by the creek. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and on the dock. We were surrounded by trees, and I could imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall. Everything we needed was on the main level. The location was good, although we only left once during our three day weekend. We would love to rebt Hunker Down again!

Fantastic mountain cabin

This was an amazing place to stay for our family getaway. The home is amazingly clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed from cozy beds and linens to kitchen ware. The ac and WiFi worked great. The cabin is nestled in the woods with a view of the river from the house. We didn’t make it down to the river but there was a wonderful deck right next to the water. We enjoyed the ping pong table and pool table on the lower level. You will immediately see the attention to detail and care the owners have taken to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat

The property is tucked away with trees surrounding it. Our favorite part was the deck right by the creek, we'd spend the morning drinking our coffee and evening having a pre-dinner drink. Great for groups plenty of room for the 4 of us. I would say the only suggestion I'd make is it's time to replace the hot tub, it's usable but it's seen better days.

Happiness is....

Wow. My sons and I first came here last year and we fell in love with the cabin and All of my sons are grown and in college in three different states and we had such a good time together we want to do it next year. It is a beautiful peaceful cabin and has a deck at the water where we have a fire and they don't even hold a phone! This year my middle son found a place for us to get in rafts and come down to the cabin. The water is not deep but we had a good time.! We rode horses the next day Next year is boating. Then we come back and relax cook something on the grill they actually cook for me for the time we are there lol! My sons are 34, 24 and 19. I love making these great memories with them. And the hot tub comes in handy after riding a horse or following a very rocky raft ride. The description of the cabin is very accurate and the owner has been very easy to communicate with. We will be back next year. Also I looked a month to compare prices and for this price it has more to offer than ones that cost twice as much. Thank you for the honey we had it with breakfast. So whether you want to just hang out or are looking for things to do this is a

Anniversary getaway

Place was way to big for two but so lovely. Very quaint and secluded. There was a place across the stream but we never saw anyone there. My husband loved being so close to the water. Short drives to good food. Lots to do.
