Check in process could have been smoother. There were self-service desks, but noone was using them - prefer a person. A guest who had used them had problems with keys not working.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, we didnt eat in the hotel so cant comment on the food, but looking at the menu it was pretty limited

Great location

Had a lovely view over the river in a family room, the room was nice and plenty of space. The main bed was comfy but the fold out sofa bed was not, it had a big dip in the middle of it and creaked with every movement. The bathroom looked nice but there was black mold on the ceiling (and for some reason a big hole in the ceiling?). Breakfast was really nice though and staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great location to access the city.

Cosy rooms are very small, don't expect to be able to turn whilst in the shower as you'll end up by the sink. Rooms had everything you need though so this was good

Great location but noisy neighbours

Great location in city centre with fabulous view of the minster from Superior rooms. Bar across the river are very loud though with live music until late into the night.

Tai dinner 1/2 drive point break

Tv not a smart tv or internet connectable. Limited programming beds hard pillows suck might want to invest in quality pillows and the tiny twin beds, they need to go! Parking a little ridiculous at 20 a night and the breakfast, not worth what they are charging.

Room overlooked York Minster & river-lovely views. Bed & room were really comfortable however every night the pub across the river-mid week played music/live band until 11.30pm so struggled to get out early morning for trips. On Friday nights & weekends hotel provide earplugs to rooms.
