Beautiful and well equipped apartment on the edge of Old Salem

My favorite place to stay when in Winston-Salem! Great location, beautiful, clean and well equipped 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the edge of Old Salem. Second bathroom is just outside the 2nd bedroom. Walking distance to 4th Street/downtown and Old Salem area. The only minor downside is the entrance to another property adjoin the main bedroom and it can occasionally sound like they are in the bedroom with you when on the stairs.

Beautiful & well equipped nearly perfect apartment on the edge of Old Salem

Great location, beautiful & well equipped 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment very near Old Salem. 2nd bath is just outside the 2nd bedroom. Would have been perfect if the front door had a handle on both sides. As is, door locks/unlocks with a code but there is no handle to open the door. A little challenging but you’ll eventually get it open. Closing and locking from inside is doable but can also be challenging Without an interior handle. I will be back to WS & this will be my first choice!

Nice Apartment In Winston Salem

This renovated apartment has two bedrooms two baths with a washer and dryer so it had everything we needed. It was difficult to figure out how to set the heat, and the owner was gracious enough to come by and show us. The floors are very old and they creak when you walk but that’s no bother. It’s very close to the city and old Salem; you can walk anywhere you want or drive as they have a parking space in back. We found it a little difficult to find the apartment and once we did, we had a difficult time figuring out how to use the cipher lock. The only problem I had was the walls are very thin and the apartment is above a law office. So during the day from 9 to 5, you can hear them talking, laughing, coughing etc. Of course most people will be out during the day, but if you want to take a nap in either of the bedrooms it might bother you. The apartment is within walking distance of old Salem, which is nice. There’s also restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.
