the host was incredibly inattentive. while the apartment was nice, everytime the heating turned out this awful smoke/fire pit smell came into the apartment. I flagged it on the second day and each day Vacasa kept saying they'd solve it and put me in touch with the local team. once they called, and the call also just said they would contact the local team. No one ever reached out to me and the issue was never resolved. After my check out occurred they said okay, we can give you something off but this treatment is unacceptable. The smoke was causing allergies for my friends, headaches, sore throat, stuffiness, and also covered our clothes with a smoke smell. I would like a refund, this really ruined the stay and I'm shocked at how they kept saying they'd handle it but never followed up with anythkmg. I already flagged to VRBO and a rep is looking into it. Today Vacasa said the same message of "we are looking into this for you" but again zero follow up has happened. very unhappy
