I reserved and paid for a room with two double beds however when I checked in at 4pm I was given a room with one queen size bed. When I attempted to get the error corrected I was told that they could not accommodate my reservation due to no double bed rooms available. I was offered a rollaway bed (which was my only option according to the front desk) and the rollaway bed was extremely uncomfortable and caused me great lower back pain. I was very displeased with my whole experience and my original reservation not being honored.

Walking into the lobby, the carpeting was filthy. It was my first impression of the property and I was too tired to try to get out of my reservation and find another hotel that night. The room had a disgusting smell of stale cigarette smoke. So bad, that I woke up in the middle of the night sneezing due to allergies to cigarette smoke. The tv was tiny, the tub didn't drain and the walls had some damage. I have stayed at Candlewoods before and had favorable experiences. This experience makes me want to stick to Home2Suites going forward. The one positive thing with my stay was the woman that checked me in that night. I wish I got her name - she was lovely!
