The hotel is well maintained and they clearly spend time training the employees. The staff was the nicest we experienced on the island. Location worked out well for walking to dinner in town. We were a little disappointed with the man made beach and pool area. It’s on the second level and with the constant trade winds it was cold except for the very hottest of the day. Maybe if they put up a wind barrier but I doubt that would happen. That limits this location for us to a 2 night stay as it really takes away from how I want to enjoy a resort. That’s the only drawback and might be minor depending on what personal preference is.

Great hotel beach in the centre of town

The staff are lovely, our room was comfortable and the hotel beach is pretty great! To get to the really, really nice beaches though you will need a car/ go on a tour as this is right in the centre of Willemstad and there aren’t any real beaches close by. I would stay here again, if I stayed in Curacao.

The staff is what makes this place 5 star. As soon as you walk through the doors, you feel as home. The charming smiles and "welcome back" from the door men were great. The location is very walkable to all the local attractions. Aside from 5 o'clock, the surrounding restaurants were delicious

This was the first visit to Curaçao and this hotel was the perfect choice for our needs. Surrounded by shopping and great restaurant choices it was ideal for a couple without a car. We walked every evening to the floating bridge and enjoyed live music, drinks and shopping choices. The hotel had a beautiful infinity pool with a man made beach which was a perfect spot for us to decompress daily. The staff at the infinity bar were very attentive and a shout out to Bianca for her great service. The front desk was also very customer orientated when we had an issue Carlton took ownership and made it right, truly a client experience expert in his field. Overall you can tell the employees are well taken care of as they all were very hospitable and attentive with a smile on their faces, they seemed to like their jobs and people, well done management. We would most certainly recommend this hotel.it is important to note the port for cruise ships is right beside the hotel property so looks of people watching to be had. It did not impact our enjoyment of the facilities and local restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a great start to our day and the infinity bar had wonderful pool side drinks and snacks as well. You can’t be disappointed with the Renaissance .

Beautiful hotel on its own private beach in the middle of a quiet shopping area. Delicious food served in the main restaurant. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They have both a very large salt water infinity pool and smaller fresh water infinity pool. The health club had very modern equipment. The beach bar and 5 O’Clock Somewhere bar were great. Fun trip. I would definitely go back.
