Wasn't expecting much of the surrounding area, but the hotel itself was incredibly underwhelming and deceiving. When booking, there was no mention of the $100 hold that they WILL NOT REFUND IMMEDIATELY. I asked when this would be refunded to my card and the front desk agent told me 3 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS. What if someone needed that money to travel home? I work at a boutique hotel and know that the rooms are flipped daily, so any incidentals would be accounted for THE DAY OF, NOT 10 DAYS LATER. On top of the rip off, there was no hot water. The bathroom door did not lock, the shower faucet was broken, and the shower itself had NO DOOR. Water went everywhere whenever someone took a shower because there was no door. The amenities provided were shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which had been used by other guests because they were attached to the wall of the shower, so anyone could easily fill those bottles with whatever they felt like and that's what you'd be washing yourself with. I filled my water bottle at the dispenser in the lobby thinking it would've been filtered water... NOPE! For all I know it was filled with toilet water because it was absolutely foul. The water literally smelled disgusting and I've been experiencing stomach issues ever since. I looked at my folio today and it states that I checked out at 11am when it was actually 9:30am. Stay away from this property before they take $100 from you and give you some sort of stomach bug with their nasty water.
