The room is spacious and the attached kitchen is really everything that you could need- counter, sink, burners, cabinets. Certainly more than I needed for a 1 night stay, but this would be perfect for a multi night stay. Well located within 10 minute walk to key downtown elements and the metro.

The only staff we encountered were at the door and front desk but all were kind and courteous at all times. The restaurant is being remodeled but State supplied coffee and bakery items and fruit and juice instead. Perfect! Seems the rooms were also recently remodeled. The room was wonderful! Nice and clean and spacious. Beds were comfy, we slept great! The hot water was HOT quick and the room was pretty quiet. We happened to get a kitchenette, didn't expect it, and it would be perfect for longer stays. Location - we saw the Washington Monument out our window! So we knew the tourist spots were close - 1/2 mile away. Easily walkable. All in all, a wonderful visit and we hope to return and stay at this hotel again.

Rooms are spacious and clean, the Lindt suite has a kitchen and space to relax and work. All walkable to tourist sites and good restaurants. Check-in was a bit challenging w an Expedia issue, and I will say the breakfast was disappointing, mini muffins and coffee do not replace the restaurant being closed. It is also a bit disruptive to hear every door close on your hall, and I mean every. But the rooms are nice and it’s affordable. So there is a balance

The a/c only blows hot air during this season. Parking is $40 per day you stay. The breakfast was terrible, there aren't any real ameneties in the hotel other than the suite. Does have a nice kitchen, stove, fridge, if you need those things. Food around the area is so-so, better to walk 15-20 minutes to better options. Close to the national mall bht because of the cost of the parking I chose to move my car to the JFK parking garage (which is a closer walk and half the price for just as secure). I don't know who this hotel is for. For the people wanting to stay a long time, it is too expensive, for those staying a short time there are better more convenient options elsewhere that are just as close to things. The staff is nice, and the building is clean, but that should just be true anywhere you go and doesn't win any stars.
