Best location for National Mall

Great location. 5 minute walk to National mall. There is always electric bikes and scooters on corner outside. Clean and comfortable rooms. No microwaves. Parking garage is 6'6". We were driving a Hyundai Palisade with roof cross bars.

Kind staff, great place to wake up and have breakfast. Laundry facilities are available on the second floor. While there aren't great scenic views, it's a short walk to the metro and the National Mall. Note: There's an underground metro and an above-ground train rail located near each other, which can be a little confusing. There isn't much nightlife, just a McDonald's and a pizza place nearby. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar, but they close at 10 PM. Most Ubers cost between $8 and $20. However, this location was ideal for ending the day near the National Mall. We loved walking back and seeing the monuments at night.

Great location- easy walking to the National Mall, Monuments, Museums and the Wharf. Breakfast at the Capital Bistro onsite was delicious and the Starbucks inside made for a quick grab and go snack option. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the fire alarm went off about midnight one night but thankfully we didn’t need to evacuate.

Property was good for wandering the national mall area very convenient. Dislikes: walls were so this we listened to every phone call that our neighbors had very clearly. Air conditioner was stuck between 68-70 and maintenance never was able to fix the issue. There was hair in the shower that did not belong to our family. Last thing was the food option downstairs capital bistro was very unsanitary and we walked out after watching multiple violations.
