This was a great place for our family of 5. Jeff is a great host. This is a beautiful country home. It’s a great location out of the big city but close enough to JW tours. I highly recommend.

This property was exceptionally clean, the layout was perfect, the owner was very responsive, and the amenities (lots of different coffees, teas, treats, all utensils, cookware, plates, etc.) were above and beyond. Overall, a great experience!

Best experience at a VRBO

Beautiful location with the Walkill River in the backyard. The boys caught fish on the river. House was well stocked with everything imaginable. We felt completely spoiled while visiting bethel and the city. We will be back!

Wallkill Stay (8-12 May 2025

We travelled to Wallkill, NY (our home town growing up) for my younger brother’s Celebration of Life. The manager communicated with me prior to my arrival and answered any questions I had during our stay. It is a beautiful location on the river and me and my brothers and sister really enjoyed it. Checkout was simple and I would recommend it to anyone.

Spring Bethel Trip

The home was perfect for our group of 7. The home was clean, well stocked with items such as snacks and coffee as well as some surprises such as toiletries. The view from the back of the property was beautiful! The owner, Jeff, freely communicated and helped us willingly. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone visiting the area or touring Bethel locations.

Incredible Stay!

We stayed with our nine month old and another couple and had an amazing time! Jeff keeps the property pristine and thinks of your every want in advance: a full coffee bar, a beautiful fire pit that he preps for you, an immaculately landscaped riverside lawn, and tons of games for all ages. We would absolutely come back and stay again. We used it as a launch point for two day trips to Storm King Art Center, just 30 minutes away!

Beautiful location on the Wallkill River. Property was so clean and orderly. Owner provided an abundance of amenities-we were overwhelmed with what we found for our use (ice cream, coffee, popcorn, snacks, toiletries). This owner runs a top-notch rental property and goes above and beyond what is required..

We went up for a wedding which took up a lot of our time, but could not have asked for better accommodations! There was not thing Jeff missed as far as thoughtful accommodations are concerned. What a terrific place. I'm excited to visit again. Between the beautiful surroundings and the thought put in to his hosting, I would love to go back. So much to do there too!

Great spot for our stay.

Jeff and Priscilla have a lovely place in Wallkill. Riverfront property with plenty of off street parking. The bedrooms were great. My teenager had his own space on 3rd floor with two twin beds, it was perfect. Cute decorations adorn the kitchen which had everything we needed for coffee in the morning. The living are is large and comfortable on the first floor adjacent to the kitchen. I’d stay here again for sure. Thanks for a nice stay!!

Jeff is a great host! Place was immaculate and well equipped. He went above and beyond to make sure we have everything that we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Close distance to Walkhill Bethel which was the purpose of our visit. We will definitely return! Excellent.

Excellent home and outstanding host

Jeffs home is a special place. It is comfortable and immaculate with thoughtful details designed to make your stay more pleasant in every direction you look. The outdoor space is particularly nice with peaceful river views and wildlife in the distance. Our children especially loved the fire pit and s’mores station. The adults loved the comfortable furniture and nice kitchen. Jeff also is a gem of a host. Gracious while also giving guests their privacy.

Clean. Spacious. Well maintained. Wonderful host. Stocked with everything you could need and more!! Great outdoor areas.Would have loved more time to just be there and enjoy it all.Just FYI…Although not a problem for us, no handrails on steps from living room to dining/kitchen and all bedrooms upstairs could possibly be an issue for more mature adults with mobility restraints.

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. Great location with wonderful river views. The house was very clean and well appointed. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Beyond the amenities listed the owner made a wonderful Sunday breakfast for us and even made special pancakes for my two year old granddaughter. The house has a great firepit and we were provided a smores making kit as well for that. The house was very comfortable and easily accommodated my family of six adults and a two year old. I would definitely recommend this home for someone traveling to the area and I’m sure our family will be back again as well.

Amazing host (Jeff) that cares as much for his guests as his warm and welcoming home away from homes. You will be very comfortable and have a lot of in-home games and entertainment to pick from. We celebrated Thanksgiving this year in this home and enjoyed it immensely. We did some light cooking and found everything we needed to do that and serve the 6 of us for several meals over a few days. Great tea selection, variety of popcorn kernels for popping (we really wanted to do this but had too many Thanksgiving treats so we will try this out next time), s’mores station, very nice pellet stove and the list goes on. You will be impressed by this home and the owner/host. We will be back!
