A gem in the heart of Burgundy

This is a gem in the heart of Burgundy. I won’t repeat other comments but agree with all whole-heartedly - the quality of the bed/bedroom/bathroom/gardens/service far surpass the price point and award of 3 stars. The staff is kind, friendly and welcoming. I have stayed in 5-star hotels and budget hotels across Burgundy, by far my favourite now ❤️ also, bonus points for being so great with my dogs and charging a reasonable €10 per dog.

Beautiful surroundings, average service

The B&B is absolutely beautiful. However the only restaurant in the village is closed on Monday and Tuesday and the staff suggested we Google restaurants in the area! Breakfast was unexciting and the service was erratic, with the waitress having regular cigarette breaks. There was lots available I.e towels for the pool, coffee made for you at breakfast, a full wine list in the next door restaurant. But none of this was advertised, you had to ask.

Superb small hotlel

Recently refurbished small hotel in the heart of Burgundy. Excellent for three stars. Spacious, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. They dealt well with the C-19 restrictions. There is a decent family restaurant next door.

A lovely stay

What a lovely place to stay. A beautiful large room, comfortable bed and so convenient to all that we wanted to do. The management had our safety in mind from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was ready every morning and distanced safely from anyone else. We felt we had the entire place to ourselves! So glad we chose Hotel Le Clos de la Vouge; a real gem on the Cote d'Or.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Burgundy

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful and recently renovated hotel in the heart of the Burgundy region. The room was very luxurious and a good value for the price. It's next door to several excellent tasting rooms and a quick drive or bike ride to a couple villages with top restaurants. The staff was so helpful with making reservations and pointing us to local attractions.

A wonderful hotel with a really nice ambience. The staff were friendly, the location was good and it’s accessible and easy to find. There’s no restaurant but they provide a good breakfast buffet. There’s a good restaurant just metres away and plenty more in the vicinity. Well located for the wine route and just 20 minutes from Dijon.

The hotel has only recently opened after new owners started an extensive renovation (not all bedrooms completed yet apparently). We wanted a stop-over place on our route back to the UK from the south of France and we have stayed at other hotels in the area. It was a good choice. The ambience of the hotel is very good - modern and light, but respecting the character of the old buildings and grounds. The bedroom and bathroom were way above the 3 star rating the hotel has. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool looks great but we arrived to late to try it. There is no restaurant, only breakfast, but there is a family-run restaurant next door where we enjoyed an excellent meal and sampled the local wines. In summary, well done and thank you to the young owners who are doing a great job.
