Very large unit. Nicely decorated and well stocked. Right across from beach with great views!!! Market is just across the street also… very convenient!

Wonderfull Oceanview

Was very clean and spacious. The view from the deck was spectacular! Beds and furniture were nice and comfortable. Excellent location with a market next door, but a quiet neighborhood. The only knock I would give it is the two back bedrooms could use better shades for sleeping that would keep out the outside light by the door.

Beach condo with a stunning view

We had a lovely time at our stay. Watching sunrise & dolphins swim along the shore while drinking coffee is the perfect getaway, and this condo made for a relaxing girls' getaway beach visit. I hope to rent this unit again in the future.

Our annual vacation

This was our first time in Virginia Beach and it did not disappoint. Awesome views and wonderful location. A few things found here and there left from previous guests but otherwise clean. The main thing I would suggest is having something available to help tote luggage and groceries to the room. Otherwise awesome stay and great value for the money. Thank you!!

Room with a view

This was my husbands and mine third stay at room with a view. Checking in and out was very easy. The condo was clean. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the ocean. I even got to see dolphins on my birthday. Can’t wait to go back.

5th time staying at a Dunes condo and this was the one most in need of updating. I could tell by the pictures so I won’t publicly bash it by listing everything. View was spectacular so it served its purpose for a quick getaway for 2.

Recent summer stay

This condo had great views but beyond that, there wasn't anything spectacular about it. I have stayed in 5 different units in this complex and this was my least favorite. The unit was pretty bare bones in terms of amenities. For example, there was no hair dryer and only 5 regular use spoons so we went out and bought plastic ones for the week.

Great View and Spacious

We loves the great Ocean Front view and spacious floorplan but unit feels neglected. Living room blinds were broken, sliding glass door was broken, balusters on patio rail were broken and made such a loud noise when caught by the wind it kept us awake. Hodgepodge of dishes and junk in closets faded artwork made it kind of “meh”. Building is still very nice and service from Sandbridge Realty is attentive. We’ll definitely book in the building again but perhaps another unit.

Beautiful View of the Ocean

This condo has a great view of the ocean and the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped if you plan to cook during your stay. There is also a restaurant right across the road, as well as a small grocery store. We particularly like being away from the commercial aspect of other areas like Virginia Beach. We did have an issue with a ceiling leak during the terrible storms during the first week of our stay but both Vacasa and the condo association were responsive. Overall, we recommend this property and would book it again. The four-star rating is only because of the inconvenience of having to constantly empty a rain catch basin as well as daily washing of towels used to soak up water from the carpet since there was no way for the leak to be addressed by maintenance staff until the bad weather subsided.

Room with a View

I want to tell everyone not to pick this unit, so that it’s ALWAYS available when I want to rent it but that would do an injustice to the owner. However, if the owners read this, please become my new BFF, so I can text you and pop in any time it’s available! This place has the feelsies of home with the most Amazing View! If ever I could afford it and it were available, I’d buy it! Thank You so much for bringing a smile to my sister’s face. You provided her some comfort with a view for what could possibly be her last bday, as she’s battling cancer. This was on her bucket list and I’m glad that we could spoil her. May God bless you and all who vacation here after us. Hopefully, we’ll be back soon.

Could have been better

What we liked: the view, the weather, the beds. What we were unhappy with: Condo had not been cleaned at 4:00 checkin, after calling Vacasa, cleaners came 45 min. later, the left their bucket of supplies and vacuum cleaner, we let Vacasa know, but no one came to pick up; 1 lamp switch was broken, after reporting it, we were told it had been fixed, but they actually just moved it to a different bedroom; wifi password was incorrect, when we called, they did not know the right one, eventually we found it written on the back of a postcard; never received a gym card, when we called, we were reassured we would get it, 4 days later we were told to come to office to verify who were were to get the card; somehow our front door code was changed after a few days and it took hours for someone to come and let us in; kitchen-not enough drinking glasses, coffee mugs and I think there were only 3 spoons, also could use food storage containers. Overall, we felt management was to blame for all the negatives.

Considering Sandbridge over OBX?

Typically do OBX as we do? Here are notable differences: Beach is MUCH more crowded; condo pool was consistently overrun with small kids; property & beach time far less private/quiet; and 'good' shells are scarce. Shorter drive (obvi). Loved: Unit was clean, comfortable, very well-appointed/stocked & much larger than expected; super easy, flat walk to the beach; all the dolphins!, & the *stellar* view. Any issues we had (lack of kitchen utensils; main suite toilet overflowed day 1; small bathroom toilet not attached to floor) were rectified quickly (1-2 days). Didn't like: confusion of where to go for late check in (looked for 'late-checkin cabinet' at CONDO property - specify it's located at 581 Sandbridge Rd office); inability to use more than 2 forms of payment or to make partial payments; constantly getting automated phone system rather than human; garage/storage/parking/property layout is not at all logical (never found the fitness room; took full 3 days to find storage - nowhere near our assigned spot). A unit that accommodates 8 people should have TWO assigned parking spots - uncertainty as to whether we'd have space onsite for second car was frustrating/stressful. Suggested: Put mirrors in each bedroom -- having them only in the 2 bathrooms with 8 women made getting ready a challenge. :) This sounds more negative than intended - really they're just things I wish I'd known or that might help someone considering the 'OBX of Virginia' for a change of pace. :)
