This was my family’s favorite place to stay. It was well equipped and fit our family of 5 perfectly. Very nice to have two bathrooms with showers. Air conditioning was excellent with our very hot summer days. The location was walkable from the train station and Vico Equense was a nice place to stay for our trips to Pompeii and Sorrento/Capri. Communication was excellent. We loved being close to the Gabriele Gelateria too! It was a very popular night spot. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and clean

This property has so many perks. It's right in downtown VE and close to ask the shops, restaurants, and beaches. Also Sorrento and Pompeii are just a train right away. The town is amazingly cute. And the host was so welcoming. The only reason for a 4 star was because the property is on a busy street so it is a little bit noisy. There are vehicle horns and church bells going off at all hours of the day. But if you sleep with ear plugs or a noise maker, you get plenty of sleep.

Best apartment in a beautiful town

Amazing place to stay near Sorrento. This beautiful Apartment is fully renovated and was very super clean and has everything we needed for a week stay. Host Alfonso is very helpful. The place is located in a beautiful town in a nice neighborhood and has restaurants and stores just few steps away. Location works best to visit Pompeii and amalfi coast and all nearby towns. The train station is walkable and easy to get to. We will definitely visit again

Vico Equense

The apartment was clean and simple. Note it’s ground floor so we usually kept the shutters closed. The location is very good, close to the train station. Can take the train to Sorrento and Naples so a car is not needed. Even go to Pompeii by train. Vico Equense is a great place to use as a base. A washer is available but no dryer. Alfonso is an excellent host and very responsive. His character makes up for any slight shortcomings of the rental unit.

Alfonso is the best host I have ever had

My family and I loved the place, but we Alfonso made the stay amazing. He helped with directions and recommendations on where to go. He checked on us daily. He's just so kind and I very much appreciated his guidance and knowledge. Vico Equense is the cutest town with so much to offer. We were able to walk everywhere and easy to hop a train to go to the bigger touristy towns. I will definitely come back and stay here. It's a first floor apartment. Very clean and cozy with great air conditioning. If you are not sure, trust me, you will not be disappointed with this one.

A little bit of heaven!!

Vico Equense is a quaint city with absolutely stunning views, and great food all around. The rental space was easy to access and in walking distance to the train, which was also great for visiting the surrounding cities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Alfonso is a superb host and we loved how passionate he is about his home town. He made sure we were taken care of and had a lot of recommendations for activities and restaurants. He even helped us book a boat tour to see the Amalfi Coast, it was fantastic! My daughter and I would certainly stay here again!

A little piece of heaven

We had the very best vacation staying at Casa Micla! Alfonso went above & beyond as a host from the very first minute I booked Casa Micla on VRBO. Alfonso replied to my questions quickly even when we were still in Canada. He had the best advice/suggestions. The flat itself was comfortable, clean & close to everything—from beautiful lookouts over the ocean, to the train station, to coffee shops & most importantly to Gabrielle’s, the best gelato ever! Every restaurant we visited in Vico Equense was delicious. We would definitely choose Casa Micla again. GRAZIE mille, Alfonso!!!

Felt like part of neighborhood

This place is clean and very comfortable. You really feel like your part of the neighborhood. Communication with manager was wonderful. Alfonso went above and helped with dinner reservations and recommendations. The owner provided everything we needed. Highly recommend this property!

Sehr gut organisierte Ferienwohnung, auch sehr sauber. Hilfsbereiter Manager vor Ort, der gutes Englisch spricht. Der Strand ist steinig, aber extrem malerisch gelegen: Es gibt bagnos, aber auch freien Strand in der Nähe. Die Treppe führt 238 Stufen hinab. Nachts ist Vico Equense eher laut, da die Wohnung neben dem Krankenhaus liegt. Dafür ist es nur ein Katzensprung bis zum zentralen Platz und das Eis ist sagenhaft.

Great stay for a quick trip in Vico Equense

We are a family of five (kids 10, 8 and 6) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed and was a seven minute walk from the train station to go to Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento. Alfonso was great and help us with directions via WhatsApp. Would highly recommend!

Perfect stay

August stay with friends

Conveniently located within walking distance of regional train station (500m). Apartment was clean, well appointed and spacious enough for the five of us. Alfonso is definitely a He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He provided such things as timetables of local trains and links to excursions he had vetted himself. Although a bit noisy at night, I would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious and modern apartment

This apartment was a perfect home base for a trip to the Amalfi coast. It was a short walk to the train station and a short walk to some amazing Italian food. The apartment was much bigger than it looked in the photos and it felt very spacious for our family of 5. All the beds and furniture were very comfortable and everything was brand new. It was very clean and had everything you could need. There was even clothes lines outside the window with plenty of clothes pins. Alfonso was great to work with. He gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. I highly recommend this apartment.

Fantastic stay in Casa Micla

This is a stunning apartment in the centre of Vico Equense. It is a new apartment with a great modern finish and attention to detail. We were greeted by the owner who was friendly and helpful. The apartment has all the facilities you could need and was spotlessly clean! Really easy to reach the train/bus station and the beach also. Alfonso, the apartment manager, went above and beyond helping us before and throughout our stay in Vico Eqeunse. He was always at the end of the phone! :) We will hopefully stay here again when we next visit the area.
