Honestly the rooms are pretty clean. But old and beat up for sure. the price was great, And it's like a block and a half from the pier and downtown. There's a fish taco place right down the street. A pizza place. Ventura is amazing.

Racist staff

Never had a chance to stay. Office personnel extremely rude. She claims my card didn't go th rough and that I needed to use cash. I went across the street to a atm machines which my card worked fine. Within 10 mins I then went back to the motel office and was promptly being spoken to very rudely. She was raising her voice at me, stating she did not have a room for me. That I had not let her know I needed handicap room. Which was a lie. I not only clicked for handicap room I had special requests written it out. My feelings... this old lady saw a black and white couple and instantly disliked.... BTW....I called my bank.. the card she claimed had been turned down 4 times... had never been run.

The room smelled terible like people had smoke in there, furniture smells, curtains have holes in them, matter old hard no confort at all, remote control didnt work, jus a terrible experience , and the guy in the room next to me was poundin on the wall or something, i dont know , but yeah it was the motel from hell.
