No AC. Open windows. Moist Sea Air. Heard people yelling, Police and pigeons all night. Dogs roam the entire property. They do not restrict dogs to certain rooms or floors. Without AC room smelled like dogs. The staff was freindly and helpful but did not acknowledge our request for a top floor room although we arrived at 10am. They stowed our luggage until the room was ready.

We loved the location and the history of this hotel. The rooms were updated and clean, and the hotel is beautiful. The location cannot be beat, with ocean views. We had breakfast on the restaurant patio overlooking the ocean and the food was incredible. All the restaurants nearby were amazing. We found our new go-to place to stay in Vancouver, I highly recommend it!

Always love staying here. Great that there’s no extra pet fees and lots of places to take your dog out for walks. Beautiful location. Was really happy with my room. It feels like it’s getting crazy expensive. Might be my last time here.

This ancient puppy has seen better days. The rooms are ala the last century. The furnishings are tired and the hallways are in need of new carpets and brighter lighting. We were most disappointed.

This hotel is old and tired. The location is brilliant but the hotel needs a complete revamp. Had I not booked through Expedia I would have left. The lack of plugs, heat - we had to get a space heater, towels etc was very disappointing. I wouldn't stay again.
