Loved the quirkiness and indigenous atmosphere. Great friendly helpful staff. Room was smaller but well set up and had everything we needed. Close to lots of activities.

Very cute hotel. Reception staff was very quick in checking us in and recommended a nice Mexican restaurant. Downfall was the stairs that we had to drag our heavy luggage up to our room. Once we got settled the room was clean, unique and very comfortable. There are a lot of homeless people in the area but the hotel is very safe

Very disappointed

Very disappointed with the kitchenette facility as there was no cutlery, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, sink or tea clothes, as we paid extra for all these for a king suite, so feel cheated. The location was not good, too close to china town with vagrants, drunks, druggies on the streets

Our stay at Skwachàys Lodge in Vancouver was fantastic. From the cleanliness to the staff and service - I would struggle to find a fault with the overall experience of the hotel. We enjoyed being able to purchase artwork and gifts for loved ones from the selection they had to offer in the hotel lobby. I was also able to leave my luggage here for free in a secure location whilst I explored the city on my final day. In terms of the surrounding area it is worth noting that there is an issue with homelessness / drug use. Although we did not have any issues during our stay, we found that there were certain roads near the hotel that should be avoided at night - This in no way effects the service we received at the hotel, with Skwachàys Lodge going out of their way to make visitors feel safe with doors that could only be opened via key fobs. Overall, we would stay here again!

The staff are awesome but the homelessness is quiet confronting very smelly in some streets drug use in front of everyone smell of marijuana
