The airport shuttle showed up at 9:45 pm but the driver said he couldn’t take me to the hotel because the hotel only pays this 3rd party shuttle from another hotel close by until 9pm even though this shuttle driver was driving right back with no one on it! I then had to walk down to the taxi area at arrivals and pay $25 to get to the Abercorn hotel. The have refused to give me the $25!! Cheap hotel management! Stay somewhere else… I won’t be back!

Old hotel with large rooms but in need of some extra TLC. Positioned across Costco Richmond, which is very convenient for shopping. Breakfast buffet is a very sad experience. Just either hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. No great variety. Breakfast staff trying to keep themselves looking busy by cleaning the same spots several times without need to do so, disrupting a peaceful and relaxing flow. Staff was courteous, though no daily cleaning of rooms and only one person at the check in counter. Stained carpets and very weak internet connection.

Toilet barley worked almost over flowing with the flush and then took forever to go down and most of the time left toilet paper and stuff in the bowl still, the air conditioner made clicking sound so could not use and was incredibly stuffy in the room all night.. overall would not book again at all.
