Quiet location within walking distance of small village

Our experience overall was good. We like oldy worldy type properties and this was typical of what we required. Only negative for us was no BBQ. We are used to renting and this is a requirement that meets our needs. However this did not upset our holiday or experience. Overall this property was what we requested and we had a great experience.

Pas le paradis annoncé

Points positifs : les extĂ©rieurs sont trĂšs spacieux et la vue est dĂ©gagĂ©e, calme absolu. Le lit de la chambre du Rez de chaussĂ©e est confortable. WiFi OK Points nĂ©gatifs : Manque flagrant d’entretien. En extĂ©rieur : les massifs ne sont pas taillĂ©s, les 3 bacs en bois sont Ă  l’abandon, la terrasse est sale. Pas de relax, ni transat pour profiter du jardin. A l’intĂ©rieur : trĂšs forte odeur d’humiditĂ©, mĂȘme en aĂ©rant, surtout dans la piĂšce de vie. Traces d’humiditĂ© sur le mur du fond. Une impression d’abandon et de laissĂ© aller et aussi un manque de propretĂ© ( signalĂ© au propriĂ©taire dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e)qui nous a proposĂ© un autre nettoyage mais vu l’ampleur de la tĂąche nous avons dit qu’on laissait en l’état. Les surfaces sont soit poussiĂ©reuses, soit recouvertes d’une pellicule grasse. Le four est sale, le dessus de la cuisiniĂšre n’a plus Ă©tĂ© nettoyĂ©e Ă  fond depuis longtemps. PrĂ©sence de moisissures dans la porte du lave vaisselle et dans le frigo. Il restait des glaces Magnum dans le congĂ©lateur. La location de cette maison est Ă©levĂ©e en cette saison et le nettoyage aussi est cher. A ce prix lĂ  on s’attend Ă  des prestations de qualitĂ©. D’accord c’est une vieille maison mais la remise en Ă©tat est faite Ă  l’économie ( exemple: l’électricitĂ©), et l’ameublement de bric et de broc. Rien d’agrĂ©able et de confortable, ni moderne. Nous avions payĂ© 4 nuits mais nous sommes partis ailleurs un jour plus tĂŽt, nous avons l’habitude des locations et c’est de loin depuis longtemps la plus grande dĂ©ception. Communication correcte avec le propriĂ©taire qui vit en Australie et Ă  confiĂ© la gĂ©rance Ă  quelqu’un de la rĂ©gion qui ne donne aucune nouvelle malgrĂ© sms et mail. La « gouvernante » est , sans doute libre de nettoyer comme elle l’entend et ne fait pas zĂšle.
