Nice Property but Misrepresented Online

We arrived to the property and it was completely trashed. It was clearly uncleaned, had dirty sheets from the guest before, soiled towels thrown on the ground, leftover trash in the bins, and stacks of dirty dishes left in the sink and on the kitchen counter. Additionally, the hot tub did not work and was broken. One of the main reasons we decided to stay in this property was for the use of the hot tub after skiing and it was misrepresented on the online listing that the hot tub is functional. We requested a partial refund and ended up having to file a dispute as an agreeable resolution was not met. Also beware of the two beds upstairs in the loft, they are very small and the photos online misrepresent their size (not long enough for an average adult to sleep in). The location of the property is good but beware that if you are going to spend a premium price to book this property, I would look elsewhere.

Vail Stay

Property was great but we didn't have enough papertowels, we had to buy a battery for the fire alarm and the toilet on the first floor was dirty and had to clean it. Other than that it was a great property, great location. Thank you Travis

Awesome place

Great log cabin very close to village with nice hot tub, kitchen, and tv’s everywhere. Can’t beat it. Also, very cool loft with two beds and tv for teens, not little kids.

Great property with beautiful patio views

We really enjoyed this property. It's perfect for a family of 4-7 people. Above that, it would be somewhat tight with the floor plan. That being said, the patio area is beautiful and the patio is virtually surrounded by mountains or woods. We spent a lot of time there. The property is also on a nice cul-de-sac so it's safer for kids. We also really liked that it's right next to Booth Park playground and the Booth Falls hiking trail which is our favorite in Vail. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Mountain Cabin

This property was beautiful and so convenient! Close to lots of gorgeous trails and easy access to so many fun things. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night after hikes and fly fishing. The kitchen was well stocked . We did have trouble with one toilet upon arrival, but It was promptly repaired. Would definitely stay here again!

Vail Ski Trip

Nice property with great arrangements for the bedrooms. The hot tub was not operational, and this being a ski trip, that is a major amenity that we consider when booking a property. We elected to pay a premium for the private hot tub versus a property with a shared hot tub, and we ended up with NO hot tub. This was a known issue with the property and it was not inspected prior to our arrival. They were not able to fix it during our stay. We were compensated, but not nearly the difference between a property that has no hot tub versus a property that has a private hot tub. The dishwasher and trash compactor were not functioning either. My recommendation to the property owner is to get a management company other than Vacasa that cares and does their job to maintain your property.

This house is a short 10 min from vail and can comfortably sleep up to 8 people.

The only problems we had was the dish washer did not work at all so we had to hand wash the entire time. When we go there, the bottom of the dishwasher was clogged. Outside of that, it was a great house and a great experience overall. The rental company was fast to respond to any questions we had.

Rustic Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Katsos Ranch Luxury Retreat. The house is lovely with well appointed furnishings. The beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. The house is so cozy and rustic, in a private setting with beautiful views. The reason for four stars is the hot tub never worked and that was one of our criteria when we searched for a place to stay. The skiers were pretty disappointed about that after a long day of skiing. They sent someone out to check on it, but it was never fixed. Management was very nice and apologetic and they did refund us for a portion of our stay. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Very nice Duplex!

The duplex was very nice and was even more than we imagined it was. It was very clean, everything worked. We didn’t need to contact owner at all. Stayed for 5 nights and did numerous things around Vail. It was just a very nice place to stay and get some rest and relaxation. There is a really good mountain view from the hot tub. We saw a few deer right by the residence. Overall was a 5 star rating!

Family Get Away

We went with our adult kids & 2 significant others. It was more than enough sleeping accommodations for our group of 7. We loved the cabin. It has amazing decorating touches and it is very nicely appointed. It's even better than the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. (Just wish there was more than two big towels for the hot tub- literally our only issue. First world issues.) We will be back.

Great getaway
