Un bel soggiorno in Hotel Alpi resort Torino

An excellent hotel which I will definitely try to book again. The signora was so helpful as were all the staff.I had a single room which was small but everything was “tutto a posto” and I thought very good value for what Ipaid. The breakfast which was included had a variety of bread, cheese meats as well as fresh fruit cake and croissant. It was busy but was managed very efficiently. The location was close to the centre and a stone’s throw from the river Po.Trams could be a bit noisy at night but I slept well.

I have been there four times and will probably stay there again. All in all it is a very nice, modest hotel at a good price in a good location. That's saying a lot!

Not very comfy

The rooms in this hotel were very small, with extremely small baths, old structure, tight elevator. The only good thing is the location, very close to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and shopping area.

Great location, clean, small rooms, v.bad breakfast

Very small room and one member of staff at reception was rude/ not friendly and failed to provide basic information like when and where breakfast is served, how to get in and out of the building and room, check out times. Location is excellent and walking distance from all the main attractions. Breakfast was also quite poor quality

Good location

Hotel check in is on the 4th floor of the building, there is an elevator, 2 people or 1 with a suitcase There was parking spaces but not sure if they are for hotel guests so if you're renting a car verify with the hotel of where you can park. Breakfast is included and they have a variety of hot and cold items Room was large giving us plenty of space for the cases.

Great hotel

Great place, wonderful buffet breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice. Wifi didn't work, otherwise it was a great hotel in a perfect location.

Tired and slightly run-down hotel

A short stay--2 nights--which was tolerable. What was disappointing was the condition of some of the "amenities": Broken toilet paper holder; refrigerator with nothing in it, which didn't matter since it was not turned on; inadequate space for hanging and storing clothing and toiletries; poor lighting.

Great location, comfortable, but poor breakfast.

Hotel is in a great location, rooms are comfortable and WIFI access is good. On the downside, the breakfast is VERY limited, bread choice is very poor and no salad (cucumber and tomato is usually a minimum), so meat, cheese and bread is very dry without some salad.

Good Hotel - would stay again

Good hotel, well maintained, good room, good wifi access. Breakfast a little limited, bread rolls not the best and no salad (tomato/cucumber is normally the minimum expectation). Location great, in side street 2 minutes walk from the main square. Reception was very helpful and friendly.

Decent, great location

Needed a place close to our apartment for my in-laws to stay while visiting. They found the room clean and the breakfast adequate. It was a normal 3* Italian hotel. Note, if you have a room facing the main street on the weekends, it can be noisy from the party-goers of P. Vittorio.

ONE NIGHT IN TORINO

Ok. From the outside the hotel does not look like much. An ancient elevator to the third floor brings you into a kind of seedy 'lobby'. The room itself was large but its furniture was very worn. The bed? Excellent. The noise level: high; ancient trams pass your window every 5 minutes. The staff is quirky. One minute they denied us a second street map (too costly); the next they extended our parking spot by three hours. The breakfast: terrific. The location: could not be better: Piazza Veneto is alive with the best bars and restaurants imaginable. The WIFI was terrible. The hotel is EASY to find my car as it's along the river Po. A 15 minute walk brings you to the very centre of the city (Piazza Madonna). So, all in all, good points and not so good, but a really good bargain in a city well worn seeing. In a way it's like European hotels USED to be. Which can be fine.

Very clean and close to the city center. If you stay here have dinner across the street at Il Doc. Excellent food.

Tiny Room / Noise

The one single room was so tiny that I sometimes wonder why hotels want to profit from every square inch. This tells you that they care more about their profits. Accordingly the room walls are so thin that I found it difficult to sleep. The voices of people speaking were easily heard. I stayed five nights and three times out of five, the cleaning people forgot to place towels and soap. However, the location is in the best area in Turin with tens of bars and restaurants around the corner. If comfort is your thing, this is not the place for you, but if it is a central location in the middle of the vibe, then you have it all !
