Unpleasant Experience at Vacation Rental
We chose this property with the expectation of enjoying a quiet and relaxing week in the middle of the jungle. Regrettably, our experience has been quite the opposite due to ongoing construction activities in the vicinity. The noise, which persists daily from 8 am to after 6 pm, has been disruptive and overwhelming. As residents of New York City, we are accustomed to urban noises, but the level of disturbance here exceeds anything we have encountered before. The entire area surrounding the rental is enveloped in construction, exacerbating the situation.
We believe that transparency about potential disruptions such as construction would have been crucial in our decision-making process. Given the substantial amount we paid for this rental, we find it unacceptable to endure such disturbances during our much-anticipated vacation.
Additionally, the access road to the property poses another challenge. The lack of a paved road has resulted in our rental car sustaining damage, with rocks and hits being a constant concern every time we drive to the house. This unexpected issue further adds to our frustration and disappointment with the overall experience.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but I believe it is essential for guests to be informed about potential disruptions and inconveniences before making a reservation.
