Our first room we were giving still hadn't been cleaned from previous guests. This was at 4pm. The next room didn't have batteries in the TV remote. Then the door keycard sensor wasn't working the staff made it seem like I don't know how to use a key card but they had to use the master key to reset it. The hotel is really clean , and room is spacious and nice but bad experience to start our stay here, ac works good, full size kitchen basically so a multi stay night would be real convenient.

Staff was friendly. Quiet & clean. Santa Cruz River bike trail runs right by the hotel. It was easy to hop on our bikes right from the parking lot. They do not have an ice machine. You have to rely on your room refrigerator to make ice which you have to turn on when you check in. Buy ice elsewhere if you need it!

Upon arrival, we waited several minutes for someone to show up at the desk, someone else had already been waiting and was knocking on the counter to no avail. I noticed a sign about using a phone in the lobby to dial 0, I looked around and didn’t see a phone other than the one behind the desk. I went to use this and after several seconds of trying to use the phone, Stephanie (who I assume is the one I could hear talking behind the wall earlier) finally came out and was very rude to me about using the phone and that was her space not mine…. I’d like to know why you don’t put a door on it if that’s the case? And why she wasnt at the desk during a busy check in time rather than behind the wall talking to whoever…. Not at all impressed & I would not stay here again due to rude staff. Also of note, all the sheets are polyester, the only cover for warmth is a winter comforter, making sleeping really hot and uncomfortable…another reason I won’t stay here again
