This has been my go-to in Tucson since we discovered this gem. However, it’s gone downhill recently. As others have stated, the floors are FILTHY! I would say they can wash the black footprints out of the tub, but they skipped my room on requested service. There is no laundry (removed,) and the ice machine was broken the whole time I was there (100°+ days in Tucson in June.) At times there was only one person working the desk, bar, and kitchen. I arrived to breakfast and there was no oatmeal available and the staff just looked at me waiting. It is still very convenient and retro-cool. It was nice that they didn’t have any loud DJ parties this time while I was there. The public spaces indoors and out are very nice. I will give this property one more try.

A unique hotel appreciated for it's simplicity and artful decor. The oatmeal bar was tasty and pop tarts were available in multiple flavors. Nothing fancy, but definitely enough.

We really enjoyed staying here. The place is clean and very unique than a standard corporate ran hotel. The team was friendly and the place has a positive vibe.

I can’t wait to return to the Hotel McCoy. There was live music, art to explore, and a bar with a free drink upon arrival. I didn’t have time to try out the pool or other activities.

It’s not the Ritz but a decent place for a short stay, especially if you’re traveling with a pet. Older facility but updated within the last few years. Some highway noise. Wifi needs improvement, kept losing the connection every 10-15 minutes. Breakfast was ok but only if you’re a fan of oatmeal, little else offered. I picked this motel because of the 9.2 “exceptional” rating. It is over rated imho.

Breakfast choices a bit limited but perfectly adequate. Really interesting place to stay and experience the art focus and the devotion to enhancing a genuine local experience. A lot of love has been invested in creating this special place.

We would definitely stay here again! Great vintage ambiance. Lots of entertainment- heated pool, board games, artwork, bar, gym, pinball games! Good for families and those without. Close access to the interstate, but we didn’t have much noise from it. The property feels like you are driving into a little haven of stepping back in time with the fun decor. Having bunk beds for our kids was awesome!

McCoy is a unique place to stay. It is clean, the beds are comfy, and the staff is patient and helpful. The pinball and poptarts left me very nostalgic 💜 Coffee needs improvement. Look forward to staying there again.

The price was right for this motel. There was a little kitchen in the room. Everything was clean except the floor. They must sweep but never mop it as our feet got dirty walking around barefoot. The pool area was nice. There was not much in the way of breakfast - basically oatmeal and toast. It was close to the freeway so you had that noise all night.
