Short get away

The house was comfortable, freshly updated, clean, and comfortably slept six. We didn't have the best luck with weather but it worked great to get away for a few days in November while our kitchen is remodeled. Easy access to highway and Anderson. My boys enjoyed fishing from the dock.

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a change of scenery and this is just what we needed! The house was clean and we had all the necessary amenities. We brought floats and hung out at the dock one afternoon. As advertised, not much close by, so be prepared to drive 15 minutes or more if you want to go out for dinner.

Nice place!

The home seems to be newly renovated and is bright and clean. Beds were very comfortable and host provided plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Actually, the host pretty much provided everything you could possibly need or want. Unfortunately the lake level was down about 6-8 feet and we weren’t able to access it but the host can’t control the water level. Overall we enjoyed staying at this property.

Super quiet and relaxing

The house was very clean and all the amenties were as listed! The kayaks and life jackets were perfect for little adventures on the lake. I love that they had dog food bowels, water bowls, and towels. The house is at the top of a hill and its about 200 ft down the hill to the lake. Not a huge dock, but perfect for just chilling. I loved the little touches like the included shower soaps and the water filtered pitcher in the fridge.

Bass Bungalow

The property was very well maintained and the owners have done an excellent job providing amenities to improve the experience. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with materials needed to prepare/cook meals. We used the gas grill which functioned well and I will note that there was a spare propane tank if needed. There were plenty of towels and the tvs and internet worked well. All in all the house and property was better than described and we would stay again.

Felt like a home

So many amenities and small details the owner provided. The two car garage was nice because it rained the second day and we could stay dry packing up. We brought our boat and the dock was in great shape, deep waters with bumpers and cleats.

Nice place but no TV service

This property was clean and very nicely decorated. Beds were comfy. Please be aware there is no tv service. Which if you are staying in the summer and using the lake is probably fine. We were there over the weekend during football season and really missed watching football games. We did manage to hotspot from our phone service and watch the Clemson game but it used up all of our streaming allotment to do that. It was nice that they allowed us to take our dogs. We appreciated that. All in all a good stay. Just know before you go about the tv situation.

Ok for money

Check instructions were not provided prior to arrival. Garage had a bag of either trash or animal waste by the back door. House was fairly clean but had a strong odor upon arrival. Could have been whatever the cleaning person used. Overall fair location to stay.

Cozy little home!

Though the internet was very poor, it had a beautiful interior that well kept and clean. The kayacks were great, wish there were more than 2, but they were still amazing! Loved the place, would go back again!
