We realize there is some remodeling going on, but it is a mess around the entire property. Plus we couldn’t stay the entire night because of the horrible sewage smell in our room. We reported it to the after hours phone number, as the front desk was closed. There was hardly any one staying at the property & now we know why. It really needs to be closed until all repairs are completed.

We stayed in the two bedroom cabin which was more than we needed! It was so comfy and clean-my kids adored their bunks and the pool of course! Great location being so close to the Peaceful side of Great Smokey too.

Resort was extremely clean, room was comfortable, on site staff was amazing but when you called the number it goes to an off site dirctory. We were in building 4 where the indoor pool is and the exhaust fan ran all night which was annoying. Tubs looked dirty but they have been redone so it is just an illusion. Overall will be happy to return to try the pickle ball court, outdoor theater and other amenities that are coming.

This property has been acquired by a new owner who is renovating the rooms and grounds. Our room was one of the renovated ones and was comfortable. It didn’t have carpet which was great as carpeting tends to trigger my allergies. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The microwave and mini fridge were nice to have. The location is convenient. It is not a luxurious stay but it certainly met our needs and the crew that checked us in was delightful.

This could be an amazing property and it looks like they are trying to work on it but while I was there the rooms were worn out and extremely outdated. It doesn’t look like the rooms had much done to them since the 70’s.
