"I can't review for Westcroft as although I booked this property this isn't where we stayed. I booked the Superior Double Four-Poster Ensuite Room at Westcroft Guesthouse for a partner's milestone birthday. Upon arrival, we found a note on the front door stating Westcroft had "relocated." We were moved to an alternate building further up the street called Sea Sound with no prior notice. While the host was pleasant and the beach view was beautiful - indeed both Kingsand and Cawsand are beautiful - the accommodation was a severe downgrade in privacy, layout, and amenities. We lost the private ensuite bathroom we paid for and had to use a ground-floor bathroom located two flights of stairs down. This bathroom window overlooked the garden and had no blinds. The bedroom itself had tools left on the floor and lacked the basic amenities listed: no hairdryer, no Wi-Fi, and no tea-making facilities. Only one robe was provided initially, which was tiny with a threadbare hole in the front (though the host did provide a second one when asked). The actual layout is fundamentally misrepresented. The physical Westcroft Guesthouse building is currently empty and up for sale. Anyone booking this listing will be moved to a different property. Expedia formally investigated this and issued us a partial refund. I strongly recommend messaging the host prior to booking to guarantee you will actually get the Westcroft building and amenities you are paying for."

"All rooms were clean and tidy. Kitchen well stocked with everything you'll need. Parking was fine, but be aware the rear access road it quite tight (there is a space at the front also, but several steps up to the house).The main living area is open-plan with large outside-in style patio doors onto a very large deck area overlooking the bay. Amazing views out in the evening.The 2 bedrooms also have a smaller deck from patio doors you can sit out on also.You can also walk down to Seaton beach - it is a steep walk but all OK for us. Mark provided a lot of information on things to do/walks etc also. Communication was all good.Would definitely recommend!"
