In the middle of our stay, the City of Brampton posted a Notice on the front door pertaining to the owner not having license. This required us to take pictures of it and send it to him. I received no response. The Next day the mortgage company knocked on the door and asked us how long we are staying and I told them. However as we still had several days to stay this was not a relaxing stay in the least. Upon coming to the property on the first day, there was a parked car on the driveway and there was no driveway space to park and the city had a snow event, meaning it was forbidden to park on the street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. to allow for, plows, salters, and emergency vehicle access. Violations can result in tickets (250–750) or towing, as parking enforcement operates 24/7. I stayed up until around 2 am talking to VRBO due to the host not communicating with me when I arrived and messaged him repeatedly. The next day VRBO had the owner connect me and he sternly told me street parking is free and you got what you signed up for and then after I asked him about the parking position of the car below, he said he would move the vehicle the next day and becuase he did not I had to stay up again and message him. He moved it off the drive way on the following day. This was the most stressful experience of a short term rental I have ever experienced.
