Excellent Stay at the Avalon!
Our stay was fantastic in the panoramic room, Finding the Avalon can be tricky but just call and they will provide assistance. We were greeted in the underground parking and guided to our room. We utilized the text message that was sent upon arrival to request help with our tv and the same staff came and resolved the issue. She also provided extra towels and toilet paper for our stay as there was limited. The room is warm with no way to cool it except to open a couple of windows so dress accordingly. Bring dish soap, hand towel, tin foil or plastic wrap, extra dishwasher tabs if you will need more than two (dishwasher is an apartment size). Oh and there is only a kettle and espresso machine. I would have preferred a coffee maker that also brews regular coffee as I don’t often drink espresso. I even came prepared with keurig pods but no luck there. The room could use a dusting, fresh paint, kitchen drain smells and the toilet sticks sometimes but hey that can happen at home. Overall it worked very well for our stay and was in a great area (Yorkville). If you are looking for a good place to eat try Hemingway’s…less than a 5 minute walk. Two keys would have been better for us and it would be nice if parking was included.

Would recommend because of amenities and space
Excellent stay with very convenient location (Whole Foods, Rexall just 2 short blocks away). Kitchen was pretty well equipped so was able to make all meals. Comfortable 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom set up. Giant closets but no place to really put clothes away (only a few hangers provided). Communication about how this differs from traditional hotels was helpful (concierge / help is typically available from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.).
