Dirty, Unsafe, and Poorly Maintained
The moment I walked into the room, I was hit with a strong smell of cigarettes. The whole room stank, and even the bath towels smelled like smoke.
Then I saw a bug crawling on top of the pillow. I couldn’t believe it. I refused to use that pillow — it was absolutely disgusting. When I looked closer, the pillowcase was yellowed and dirty, and the bed itself looked unclean.
The bathroom was also terrible. The toilet was so filthy that we had to clean it ourselves before using it, and there were long hairs all over the floor. A used hand towel was hanging over the shower curtain — who knows who left it there. The other hand towels had stains and looked unsanitary. Everything felt unhygienic and poorly maintained.
To make things worse, the exit door to the outside had a broken lock, meaning anyone could walk into the building without a key card. It felt very unsafe to stay there.
I’ve been traveling across the United States and have stayed in many hotels around this price range, but this one is by far the worst. The condition, cleanliness, and security of this hotel do not match the price at all.
I also saw other reviews saying the breakfast was so poor — and yes, it really was. But honestly, before worrying about breakfast, they should focus on cleaning the rooms properly and improving hygiene standards first. Totally disappointing and unacceptable.
