Found the property generally fine a little bit aged in some areas other areas exceptional and in awesome condition the bar and the restaurants on the top two levels not very accommodating and friendly and quite pricey for what they are. Sign on the swimming pool when we went down for a swim said under renovation since September 2024 as we are walking down there we passed two staff members who saw us with a towel and bathers only to proceed as we walk past and have a little giggle and laugh. Upon getting there. We realise what they’re laughing at weren’t very impressed with that. Breakfast was fine nothing special but solid mainly Asian and Japanese orientated overall experience with solid without being exceptional joy the location and the convenience of the railway to all parts of Tokyo

The room was spotless, comfortable, and tasteful. The location is fantastic and super convenient. I loved the common work/lounge area very much. This is my 3rd time to stay at Shinagawa Prince Hotel. I will definitely stay there next time I go back to Japan.

This is a huge hotel to navigate, but lots of helpful staff to guide you to your building. This hotel would be great for families as there is an aquarium, bowling alley, golf simulator, cinemas, and Konbini attached. I stayed here for my last night in Tokyo before going to Haneda, and it’s extremely convenient to get to both Tokyo airports (5 min walk to station and 30 minute train ride). However, as a single female traveler who likes a bit more of an energetic environment, there wasn’t much to do around the area, and plenty more exciting options in other parts of Tokyo (Shibuya, Ginza, Shinjuku, Nakameguro etc). The room is also quite outdated, reminding me of a 1970s style, but it was tidy, and fine for one night. In conclusion, the non-modern style of hotel and location detached from the range of shopping that other areas have, leads me to rate this hotel 4 stars, but otherwise no complaints. It’s probably best to consider what type of holiday you want and keep these things in mind!

Beautiful room with an amazing view of Tokyo including Tokyo tower. Huge hotel got lost a couple times but you get use to it. across the street from Shinagawa station. So you can get anywhere even Kyoto as the bullet train is there too. Hotel had a great dining room for breakfast too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shinagawa Prince Hotel – A City Within the City The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is an impressive, full-scale destination in itself. The property is massive, featuring three distinct towers so yes, there may be a brief “Which tower am I in?” moment at check-in. Once I found my way to the Annex Tower, everything else was smooth sailing. I stayed in a queen room with a separate bath on the 30th floor, which offered a fantastic panoramic view of Tokyo. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, exactly what you want after full days of exploring the city. The staff truly stood out: friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The entire property felt well-maintained and calm despite its size. What really sets this hotel apart is the sheer amount of on-site entertainment, bowling, shopping, dining, and more, making it feel like a mini city. Location-wise, it doesn’t get much better. The Shinagawa Station is literally across the street, making it incredibly easy to hop on a train and explore Tokyo daily. And when the trains stopped running, a quick Uber ride back was under $10 USD, convenient and budget-friendly. While I didn’t try the hotel breakfast, based on the overall experience, I imagine it would be just as solid. All in all, I highly recommend the Shinagawa Prince Hotel and would absolutely stay here again on future visits to Tokyo. Convenience, comfort, and connectivity this place delivers.

Location is great and view from corner room on 19th floor was wonderful but our main tower room could really have used a renovation from what felt like the 80’s or 90’s. Staff response to an issue of not being able to control temperatures was unlike any Japanese experience- apathetic and unapologetic- simply that cooler temps outside cause heat to be unpredictable inside. Asked for fan- apparently all had been lent out. Slept in 25 degree C room. Correction- couldn’t sleep in 25° room
