Citadines was close enough to the Shinjuku area, so we could walk there, and far enough to not hear any of the noise. I originally laughed at the amount of umbrellas they had until it rained / poured — then I was most grateful for them.

Very noisy in the lobby as other guests just sat there very long time and monopolised all spaces. Staff could/ should say something. It justs brings down the overall experience if other's children can walk around and pick at the breakfast bar etc.

Citadines Shinjuku is pretty convincing located and at a walking distance of important landmarks. It has an easy access and the hotel personnel was very attentive and kind. The check in and check out were very easy.

Good location, with big sized rooms for Japan. About a 15 min walk to the main shopping areas and so many stations close by that really make the commute a lot easier. The hotel staff were really helpful when it came to forwarding our luggage.

This hotel had all the amenities expected from the way it was described: a nice size room with kitchen facilities, pleasant people at reception and a satisfactory breakfast. The stay was marred though, by the behaviour of other guests of a particular nationality. They were inconsiderate in constantly going in and out of each others rooms until well into the night, and allowing children run around make a noise.Remarkably more than 50 percent of the guests were of this nationality, and no sooner had some left than new ones arrived. Most of them were ignorant and only thought of themselves. At one point I had to ask one of the staff to intervene, which he kindly did, but that only related to one family; the others just carried on. Therefore despite the decent quality of the hotel, because of disruption, I could not stay here again.

We had a great stay at this hotel during our family trip. The location was excellent—right in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle—making it very convenient for exploring. The nearby train station was a big plus, allowing quick and easy access to major attractions. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen in the room, which was incredibly helpful for preparing meals, especially while traveling with kids. The room cleaning and supply services were excellent and consistent throughout our stay. The hotel staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant. We chose not to use the on-site breakfast, as we found it a bit too expensive and not quite suited to our taste or usual breakfast preferences. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay, highly recommended for families!
