place was clean, sufficient for our needs, beds were excellent, shower had enough power to wash my hair, and the location was great as we are near family. They also have a dog park three minutes away and that was used every single day by us. We’ve been there before we’ll be back again.

Feel at home

Front check on to check out everything went well. The host made themselves available to questions and was quick to respond. The space is very cozy and made you feel like you were at home. With a small child I really appreciated the rollaway bed. The rooms were very spacious so it allowed the rollaway in Both rooms. I will say that if you have small children there is hardwood floor through out so the floors might be a bit too smooth for their feet to grip. Also the beds are up high and the back steps are steep to keep a watchful eye out for your littles. I loved how convenient the locations is to all your needs, grocery stores, shopping and gas. I also appreciated the designated parking with the car port so you don’t have to worry about street parking. Everything was very clean and had plenty of towels. I loved the soap dispensers in the showers just like a hotel. Overall, I will stay here whenever I’m back in town. Thank you so much for your hospitality, I felt at home!

Beautiful Space | Great Communication

We returned to Texarkana for professional meetings. As we needed a place where we could spread out to work, relax, and host friends for visits, this house more than satisfied our expectations. Tim, the host, was amazing -- answering all our inquiries in a timely manner. Tim went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Thank you so much! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Everything was perfect. When we return to Texarkana, we will certainly check the availability of this house first.

Home is in excellent, comfortable condition. It is described perfectly. We visit family who live just under 10 minutes away and we need a place that is closer than the hotels. This is a nice quiet getaway that we will again happily utilize!

Every need anticipated at this property

The meticulous attention to details is evident in this home. Almost every one of our needs were anticipated by the owner...right down to the makeup remover towelettes in the bathroom! Beautifully decorated, and comfortable, quiet surroundings made for a very restful stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the property was clean and neat. We will be back in November and hope to stay here again!!

A true Gem in Texarkana

A true gem in Texarkana, well represented by the pictures and worthy of the name 'Duke's Place'! Comfortable beds, great water pressure, and all of the key elements for a relaxing stay. Bathroom was well stocked for our week stay and with super fluffy towels. Kitchen included ice trays ready for our evening refreshment. While all of these are required for a repeat stay, our host is the reason for the 5 star review. Quick to respond and ensured a comfortable stay. We'll be back for another stay.
