Sizable closet, separate toilet, shower, select toiletries, queen mattress, premium white bedding, towels and pool towels. Dedicated Starlink internet to stream your accounts with Apple TV.

DEATH VALLEY HOT SPRINGS

The hot springs are heated by geothermal heat—heat from the earth's interior. In volcanic areas, water may come into contact with very hot rock heated by magma. As it is pushed through mineral deposits, some of those minerals are dissolved into the water and when it finally makes its way to the surface, it escapes as steam and mineral-rich (and sometimes very) hot water.

Tecopa’s hot spring water is silky smooth with no odor. At the ground source, the temperature is roughly 118 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the time of year. The temperature of the water is regulated by adjusting the flow of water into the pools. Pools are regulated to temperatures between 102 - 104 degrees F.

✦Guest Access

❤︎ This listing includes 2 all day passes to the hot springs pools.

▪️ Children under 5 years old will not be permitted to the hot spring pools.

▪️Always bring plenty of water. We recommend four liters of water per person with additional water for cooling off. It is not recommended to drink any tap water as it has a very high mineral content.
Please bring lots of water.

▪️The nearest food market and restaurants is 30 min away in Pahrump NV. If planning on staying a few days we recommend bringing some groceries.

💦 The main pool is kept at a comfortable and relaxing temperature.

✻ You can reach me by email, text, or call. But keep in mind you have no cell service in the area and must be connected to Wifi to make calls.

✻ The Airstream is located on the north side of the property at the end of the road. It is adjacent to a house, and across the road are two more homes.

Potential!

Pros: Easy to find and thanks to the host, we knew to be prepared with snacks and water as it’s kind of ‘out there’. The hot springs were amazing. The setting and scenery are peaceful and beautiful. Cons: There were dirty towels in the closet, it was very difficult to adjust the heat/AC, and when we arrived, it was 102 inside the camper. The air was off and the door and windows were closed. The check-in process was supposed to be: keys are on the counter, door is unlocked; however the door was locked, so we had to go to the office to check in and get them. BUT THE WORST PART was when we got LOCKED IN overnight. The door handle was sketchy and just gave up entirely. We tried contacting the owner via messages and by phone, a number for another person was left on the table- we also tried to text and call him and we tried the office. The office was supposed to be open until 11pm. We called all three from 8:30 intermittently for an hour, and finally gave up. We had been trying to go outside to enjoy the night sky, but instead were trapped inside. By 8:30 the next morning, we still hadn’t gotten a response. The sheriff’s office had to come get us out. When I told the man at the front desk, he told me this had happened before and asked me why I didn’t climb out the window (it was because I wasn’t sure we would be able to get back in!!). The person whose contact information we had only said, ‘Oh. You’re the ones.’ So he’d ignored our calls and texts.

Fun Experience in an Airstream!

Airstream was well equipped and set up for us to stay in. Hot springs pools were an unexpected bonus! Only issue was that it wasn't cleaned and ready for us at 4 pm when we checked in.

Fun in the Sun!

We really enjoyed our stay. We spent three days on Death Valley National Park and used this as our home base. It was clean and quiet and we did our best to enjoy the wonderful hot springs pool, but that was a little challenging in the heat! We plan to come back in late winter/early spring and will stay here and enjoy it more then. Its much prettier than it appears on line! We like to stay just outside if National Parks to save money and have done this multiple times. Death Valley is massive so a lot of driving was involved everyday, but every inch of all of the drives was beautiful. We loved having a little kitchen, a comfortable bed and a great outdoor seating area to enjoy. It was shady for morning coffee and a cold beer at night. The constant breeze and shade made the seating area outside if the Airstream a fun spot and the inside felt brand new. The only thing that surprised us was that the trailer isn't as isolated as it appears to be online. This was not a negative, just a surprise. It is part of a small resort. I only share this for people's planning information in case they want to be really isolated. We loved this spot.

Magical spot in the desert

My 7 yo walked up the stairs into the airstream and declared it his "favorite place of my life". It is amazing how well-appointed and comfortable the space is. The stovetop and grill make it easy to cook great meals, the temp was regulated well - which is super hard to do in the desert, it was very clean, and the view of the sunsets across the salt flats just gorgeous. Tecopa is very small, but there is an excellent coffee/bakery/pizza/brewery about a mile from the property, and it is about an hour from furnace creek, so a great spot to launch from for exploring Death Valley and Ash Meadows.

Special place

You feel special being in a place that remote. At the same time it is ideally comfortable and clean.Access to the Dearh Valley is excellent using different entrance than most tourist traffic from Vegas. Solitude in this huge land. The heat pump was bit too loud.
