Room service was poor. You don't get any if you forget to put the green card out. But even if you put the card out and the wind blows it down, you also don't get room service. You get only 4 Kleenex and they are not replenished. You have to go to the office every day to request your coffee. Asian guests walk in front of your private area if you have a ground floor suite, no effort is made to inform guests of proper etiquette. Apart from this, room was spacious and had a kitchenet with electric double burners, fridge and microwave. Foldable outdoor chairs and table was a nice touch. There are better places to stay.

All of our trips were cancelled by the tour company so coming to Te Anau was redundant. The staff whilst friendly, wouldn’t offer a refund (or partial refund) so we lost all our money. Shame really.
