The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The spa was a little old and run down but it was still great. The receptionist was lovely. We did however wake up to find a man/another guest sitting on the table in our private patio/spa area smoking, so thankfully we didnt wake walk into the lounge naked or he would have had a show through the window. He also made everything smell very unpleasant with cigarette smoke and not to mention a little awkward.

I was pleasantly suprised at the amenities in the room. Clean, roomy. With a little table and chairs. I didnt mind that the TV was on a side table to the side of the bed. Would have been better on the wall though. Pillows were flat so these need replacing otherwise for the price well above average.

When we arrived, we were told that breakfast was included and were given instructions accordingly. The next morning, we called the office to confirm the details, only to be told that breakfast was not included and that the receptionist had made a mistake—even though she had checked our paperwork. We had to go out and buy breakfast from the supermarket. The man we spoke to on the phone was quite rude and dismissive. On top of that, I emailed management about another issue—our room was supposed to have a spa, but it didn’t. I have yet to receive any response at all. Overall, very disappointed with communication. Good points was it had upstairs and the girls loved that. And garden view.

PROS: The room had everything we needed, not a 5 or 4 star motel as in appliances weren’t brand new but definitely done our family for the night. The beds were comfy. CONS: It was clean but the smell was grotty. I’m a smoker and I can say that the smell was a mixture of musty dust and cigarette. It needs a good cleanse on carpets and walls. Either the guests or the cleaners smoking while they clean. But a good air out and freshener done us for the night
