I'm no stranger to budget / dated hotel rooms, but this was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was absolutely disgusting. All of the furniture was peeling, the arm chair was so worn and stained that it looked like it was pulled straight from a dump, there was black mold on the ceiling and wall next to the headboard, there was some sort of oil or grease on the wall above the headboard, dried droplets on the floor next to the side of the bed, the baseboards, outlet covers, and lampshades were filthy. I didn't want to touch anything in the room.
The window of room 315 opens to a view of a brick wall a few feet away. You could hear conversations as if you were right next to the people outside. We should have left the second we saw the room, but I figured I'd try to tough it out, which ended up being a mistake, as it was the worst and most stressful part of our entire 3-night trip. I woke up the 2nd morning to 3 bites on my leg that I'm hoping aren't bed bug bites. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere. I would have felt more at ease camping in a tent. Never again.
