I booked the "Charming Tampa Lakehouse" for my 41st birthday with the intent of being near - but not directly in - Tampa, and I am very glad I did. The neighborhood is quiet, main attractions are all a short ride away, but you still have plenty of places within a mile or two of the house for necessities, shopping, or dining out.It was the perfect size for our party of 7, with lots of tables and couches to relax. The wrap-around porch was thoroughly enjoyed, although it could have used a cobweb cleanup for sure, and maybe another chair or two. The beds were comfortable although we had issues with the slats holding up the mattress on one of them. Each room had multiple supplied fans which was really appreciated, although they ended up not being needed because the A/C in this place worked great!Tony was immediately responsive to any questions or concerns I had about the house, rules, or amenities. If you don't like wildlife, I recommend looking elsewhere, because the front/side/backyard of this house were constantly bustling with animals - mostly various water birds - and an entire muster of peacocks came strolling through on Sunday morning which delighted all of us. We didn't go kayaking but we did see many more birds out enjoying the lake, as well as some very small reptiles (crocs? gators?).Overall I couldn't have been happier with my choice to host my birthday here, all of my guests were very complimentary of the visit. Our stay was delightful, thank you Tony!
