Nice Hotel, great bed ! The staff is amazing and friendly. Very helpful and always cheerful , they are truly valuable . Even when they called us a taxi to leave the young girl came out to ensure the taxi was taking us to the right place. We really appreciated and Loved the staff here. The hotel was very clean, staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. It’s a bit difficult to find the hotel, because it’s not on the Main Street, but it’s was very quiet. Walking distance to the bus terminal to 清境農場，also very easy to walk to the Taichung main railway station. I recommended this hotel to everyone.

Modern & classic feel for a clean, welcoming hotel

My friend and I had a wonderful, albeit too short stay at BlueSky. We were only in Taichung for a night and a day, but the hotel really made our stay. The double beds are plenty spacious and really comfortable. The room itself looks like an antique parlor with wood-paneled floors, but the building has modern finishings, so it stands apart from other older hotels. The bathroom is exceptionally clean, and the shower stall is spacious. I love the coffee bar set up in the back because it ties the whole room together. The cleaning staff even left four water bottles for us to take, as well as local Taiwanese snacks that were divine. Before we left Taichung, we checked out of the hotel but left out stuff under the care of the hotel staff while we explored some more before our train. They took excellent care of our stuff. They also answered our questions with patience and were extremely helpful, especially with how to find a currency exchange place on the weekends. Overall, we had an amazing stay at BlueSky Hotel.

Great location, walkable distance to many famous landmarks: Taichung Train Station, Miyahara store, Taichung City Hall. It is close to lots of good eateries, restaurants, and milk tea stores. At the corner, there is a bakery that we highly recommend; it has excellent sandwiches and is always crowded. The reception staff is very helpful. The reception area is welcoming with some snacks and a warm delicious date drink. We got Room 715. It is of decent size and has a balcony. Due to some mistakes from Expedia, we had some confusion about the room that was assigned to us. We are grateful that Steven at the reception desk worked hard with his manager Derek to resolve the issue. The hotel does not have breakfast. We appreciate having a Nespresso machine in the room. In addition, Nespresso capsules, snacks, and soft drinks are provided daily. There is no laundry facility. But across the street, there is a 24 hour self-service laundromat.
