Quaint property single handedly re-enliving the lead glass window industry. No name brand Air conditioner had an annoying buzzing sound. Rooms dont have a kettle for some fire prevention reaon that no other hotel suffers from. When we called we were sent to a basement kitchen to carry boiling water in mugs for three floors and we agreed to move rooms to a lesser room - no partial refund requested nor offered. After hours, no manager on site, so lucky they had installed e-pin locks. Form filled,function empty, english sinks stylistically correct but impossible to balance a tooth brush on and no shelves. Light leakage a diaster for those wanting to sleep in. Why arent room designers forced to "eat their own dog food" Microsoft style? Nice restoration idea with poor initial execution.

Such a cute and quaint place to stay, my daughter and I just needed an overnight but I wish that we were able to stay a little longer in this cute space. Very clean well decorated the only thing I wasn’t sure of was how to make a tea because I couldn’t find a kettle But otherwise everything was great. We also landed late and I had received a call while I was flying, and because they couldn’t reach me, they sent me a text on how to get in after hours, which was perfect. Super close to the train station and walking distance to a lot of our favourite things that we needed to do down in Sydney.

Really loved my stay here – cosy, quiet, and full of charm since it’s in a heritage building. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was included (such a nice surprise!), and the location was great – only about a 10-minute walk to the train station but still peaceful. Would definitely come back!
