The hotel was within easy driving distance to Hunters Hill Private Hospital. The suite was a good size and very comfortable and clean. The carpark was easy to access and the car spaces were a reasonable size.

The reception staff member was welcoming and polite, explained everything well. We had joining rooms which was fine, however having a way to keep the doors open inside the main door would be helpful as the children were in one room and the adult in the other. We made it work but a better option for families should be considered. One of our rooms did smell like a previous person had smoked in there and there was hair still in the shower and on the bathroom ceiling in the other room. I didn't worry about telling reception as we weren't in the rooms that much. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here and would stay again. Its a very short walk to the Metro station and a short drive to major shopping centres.

Great property and a wonderful location for us on this occasion but our stay was marred by the fact that the waste bin in the bathroom had not been emptied and there was only one set of crockery and cutlery available in the suite.

We came to Sydney for a trade show. Booked a two bedroom suite. This is two rooms next door to one another - not connected. Luckily, our kids are teens, but if they were younger, I wouldn't have been comfortable with them in a completely separate room. It was a very poor night's sleep - the king bed was two singles together, but there was no topper or anything to keep them joined together so they moved apart during the night. A/C would not work on heating setting. Shower head was loose and leaked, we tightened it and stopped the leak. There were dribbles of some description running down the wall beside the small dining table. Dated, tired, some dirty parts. I stayed here 4 years ago, and I think the only thing that has changed are the curtains. When checking out i intended to raise issues with staff but she was so involved scrolling on her phone and didnt look up. I waited about a minuted, but no acknowledgement, so i left the key cards and walk away. Price was good, but i recommend spending a little more if the budget allows and staying somewhere else.

Oaks is a good location. The hotel is a bit tired though with grubby entrance and floors and walls. The rooms are great though and the beds comfy. The staff are also super helpful and gave us an upgrade when our room wasnt right on our trip.

Standard 1 bedroom suite. Very little furniture. Large lounge area with a very small 2 seater lounge no coffee table had to use lamp table to put glasses on. Had a gym but no towels or anything may available to wipe down afterwards even the bathroom in the gym area had no handwash or towel.
