Very nice home

We liked it so much we didn’t want to leave. Very nice, plenty of room. I did think it was closer to the beach. 3 minute drive, not 3 minute walk. But would stay again.

Good stay BUT. . .

The place overall was exactly as described and just like the pictures showed. We loved we were just a few minutes walk to the beach, and we had the canal right behind the house to fish and kayak. The house was big enough for 5 adults and 3 kids. I also loved all the seating and the openness of the house. Our biggest issues were that we had NO communication from the owners other than the check in and out info. We contacted them 3 times and never heard back. So that was a big issue for me. In the loft, there is a king size bed but the top of the bed is down and there is like a sink hole in the top, middle of the bed. After 2 nights, I could not sleep on it because of my back. I had to sleep on the twin size daybed that is in there. The decks have older wood on them and the head of the nails stick up so I would not recommend going on it without shoes. Lastly, we wished there was a gate going from the yard to the ramp to get to the dock. With having small kids, we had to constantly watch them to make sure they were not running down to the dock. Other than those, we were overall pleased with our stay. Just be sure to bring your own bath towels and hand towels as those are not included. They also do not have extra toilet paper and hand soap if you run out while you are there.

Lots of space. Great location

This was our 2nd time staying. The upgrades to the outside area were great. We loved the new bar, seating area, and kayaks. Definitely would stay there again!

Great location with lots of room

My group of 7 friends spent a long weekend here. The property location and size were great. We loved the views and the canal. I would not plan to use the beach chairs, bikes, or kayaks that are advertised. None of them were in good shape. Also, the groups before us had left a pile of dirty towels on the washer and dryer. I emailed the contact person, but never heard back. The house was great though.

Greta Holden Beach stay!

This property was wonderful for our family of 5. It was very close to public beach access and wonderful for fishing. The kayaks were an extra bonus and the house is comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Great beach!!

The property was less than anticipated. I had a hard time contacting the owners as they have switched hands and the contact information was not correct!! There was mold on the porch we were only able to use one side. The air conditioning filter was so thick with dust we had a hard time controlling the air temperature. The key box was somewhat corroded proving the process to retrieve the house keys a task each time!!! There was NO toilet paper! We were forced to make a run to the store! The back sliding door is somewhat warped making the door hard to close all the way! The grass was tall and needed a mow!! The location was nice!! The walk to the beach was a breeze!!! The convince of fishing from the back dock was the best part!!

We had a great time at this vacation rental! We went kayaking every day. Watch out for those muscles they will cut up your feet! The kids especially love the upstairs double shower. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off before I went inside. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great property! Had a blast!

This was our first time visiting Holden beach and we were extremely impressed! The house was great... clean, had lots of extras in the pantry and cabinets, beach chairs, bikes, kayaks... couldn’t ask for much more! The beach access was super convenient being at the end of the street and a 2 minute walk. There were limited restaurants over the bridge but they were great and convenient! Would definitely come back!!

Exceeded expectations!

Wow--this lovely & sparkling clean vacation home did not disappoint! Great location--especially loved being on the inland waterway for kayaking. Short walk to beach (about 1 block or less). Holden Beach was a nice surprise--our first time visiting. The home was beautifully appointed, had way more amenities (kitchen too!) than usual rentals. AND, the owner could not have been anymore responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Best beach rental in our experience.

Great stay!

Beautifully remodeled home! Great location! We brought a boat, drove it around the Intercoastal highway, went fishing! The beach is a very short walk away and there were barely any people during the week! I have no complaints whatsoever!
