Fantastic private location

Fantastic private location in the middle of an orange grove on a mountainside with a great pool and lovely views. The garden and the exterior ambience was very well maintained. Each bedroom had its own personal bathroom, in addition to the beautiful view, which was a great advantage. The interior (especially in the kitchen) is a bit old overall, but it worked. In just 5 minutes you were at a very rural supermarket by car, otherwise there were some nice hiking destinations in the vicinity, and it was about 20 minutes by car to the sea. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and communication was extremely easy and quick. All in all, highly recommended if you like solitude and the scent of oranges ;-)

Underwhelmed

From the exterior, Villa Skouli was everything we'd dreamed of; a classically Cypriot garden welcomed us, adorned with olive trees, an orange grove and other native plants, beautifully manicured grass, a gorgeous infinity pool with spectacular views, a vast outdoor entertaining area and there was even a little play gym for the children. That's where our positive experience ended. The property is very, very tired and in need of some extreme TLC. The couches and throws were grubby, the TV didn't work, not even a basic stereo system was provided so we could hook up our smartphones for music. The kitchen was beyond bad for a family of our size. There were only 3 or 4 bowls available in the whole house, which wasn't nearly sufficient for our family which consisted of four adults and three children. The kitchen itself (oven, stove etc) works, but is extremely old. I've never seen a fridge like the one in this home, I think I'd be generous in describing it as a relic from the 1990s. It just gets worse as you move upstairs. The balustrade is loose and is about to fall off. Extremely dangerous with children running around. If it were to snap off, which it's threatening to, it would become a death drop. Shameful that the owner didn't repair this before our stay considering what a safety risk it poses. The beds are painfully uncomfortable. I'd describe the mattress as a scrap of foam covered in the cheapest sheets you've ever seen. Credit where it's due, the air-conditioning system was

Would recommend to Friends anytime.

We visited the villa with 6 people for one week and had a really nice stay! The view was excellent and the pool was in very good condition. Because of that people came randomly to clean and Check the appartement without any prior notice. We didnt have a problem with that but maybe other people do. The dishes were enough but not for two meals in a row.. we had to clean it up every time to have clean ones the next meal. Some of the sunlounger were a little bit broken but not that much. The communication was excellent, the Company answers within an hour and very polite all the time. Because of all circumstances we rate 4 out of 5 Stars, our visit was very good but not Perfect.

It was our second trip to Villa Skouli and once again we had a great time in this beautiful place surrounded by orange and lemon trees. The view remains great, weather was perfect and we really enjoyed our time!As it was our second stay we can again recommend everyone this place! Thank you!

A beautiful setting and a lovely Villa, waking up to the scent of fresh oranges and lemons wafting over the balcony in what seemed to be our own private pocket of sunshine. While seemingly remote, it is actually within close proximity to number of beaches and towns.

The pool and view is great! Also we really loved the welcome products in the fridge and the possibility to get fresh fruit from the plot next to the villa. The owner told us he will renovate the villa; that is a good idea. There are a few things that need attention. Besides that, we really loved the villa!

We liked it all.

We liked it all. The house is large, offers plenty of space and is on a hill where you could enjoy the flake. Pool is the highlight as well as the orange plantation. We were allowed to eat self-made oranges every day and make juice. The island offers many excursion possibilities and sights. Can only recommend the house, location and country. It was all perfect. Gladly again.

We thoroughly enjoyed Villa Skoulli this past week in Cyprus. It is definitely a bit off the beaten path but that's what we wanted. The pool and all the amenities were awesome and that view! The owner surprised us with some groceries in the fridge and a delicious bottle of wine - totally unexpected and very welcoming after arriving there late. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the mattresses and linens in the future but other than that - fantastic place!!

Great place to visit with friends or with family. Beautiful view, fantastic smell of flowers and trees. Orange trees around the place. I definitely recommend this place! It was a great time for all of us. We plan to come back one more time with our kids. The place is lovely!
