The chalet is located on small chalet park, at an altitude of about 900 meters and about 2 km from the centre of Stadl an der Mur, a popular holiday resort in the Styrian holiday region of Murtal, where there are several shops, restaurants and a popular swimming lake. The historic town of Murau is about 15 km away and has a beautiful old centre, a wide range of shops and an indoor swimming pool.

The chalet is in a perfect location in relation to the neighbouring ski areas Kreischberg (ca. 5-10 minutes by car), a perfect ski area with 42 kilometers of pistes with snow guarantee, the Turracher Höhe, one of the most versatile ski areas in the Southern Alps with 43 km of ski slopes and 15 cable cars and ski lifts (ca. 30 minutes) and the family ski area Lachtal (between Murau and Judenburg) with 35 km of ski slopes.

The chalet is located in one of Austria's sunniest regions, with quiet mountain passes, small traditional villages and densely wooded mountain slopes characterising the landscape. The region also offers several golf clubs for a relaxing golf holiday, such as Golf Club Murau-Kreischberg or Golf Club Grebenzen.

On the outskirts of Stadl an der Mur is a large leisure centre with a 7,000 m² swimming lake with a non-swimming area, a paddling pool for children, playground, a halfpipe, a beach volleyball and football field and tennis courts. In summer, the region offers various activities such as Nordic walking, rafting on the Mur and a varied range of bicycle and mountain bike tours
