The place was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. We have stayed in many rentals like this and usually feel like they are not quite clean enough. This had no dust in the corners, dirty walls, grimey dishes or anything that made you feel it was just surface clean. Kitchen was super well stocked if we wanted to do any cooking or have containers to store food etc. furniture and beds were also great. I appreciated that it was stocked with the little things.. soap, garbage bags, paper towels etc. Those make a big difference. The only thing I would have liked to have were some beach chairs to take when visiting other beaches. As far as the overall community : We didn’t use the pool at all and would normally have used the hot tub, but the first night we walked by it exploring, it was dark (no real lights around it) and there were two people in it we couldn’t see. That just kind of gave off a vibe of “who knows what goes on in there” because it’s not well lit, so we stayed away. ;). Getting to the parking lot and beach from the unit involved a couple flights of steps. Not an issue for us but would be a huge issue for someone with mobility issues. Tennis courts were fun and nice that the clubhouse had free racquet and balls to use. Even better if they turned them into pickleball courts! We would stay here again and found it convenience to get to wherever we wanted to go. We also had a car, which I think is a must for this location. (At least for us)

Just what we were looking for!

Spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. Beach area was nice and quiet. Very close to Red Hook and ferry. In a good location on the island. Restaurants onsite were spendy, but convenient. Rent your snorkel gear here and take to other beaches with you. My son snorkeled and saw sleeping nurse sharks as well as many different types of fish. Had a sting ray swim by as we stood in the water, so you don't need to go far if you want to see aquatic wildlife! Lots of steps to beach area and restaurants, but you could also drive if steps are an issue. We rented a jeep for the week and would recommend that, as taxis or the island buses looked crowded. Was nice to jump in and go by ourselves. Definitely take the car ferry over to St John's to explore the beaches and the scenery. Alot quieter over there. Overall was a good and enjoyable experience and would have zero hesitation about staying here again! Thanks!!

Awesome St Thomas Stay

This property is just as advertised, the location is fantastic, close to the beach, Red Hook for shopping and dining. Property Manager was very responsive and provided some great local spots for shopping and dining. The resort is well kept and offers a couple of dining options. This location is about 20 minutes from the airport and downtown which is really nice and the view from the balconies are beautiful. Would certainly recommend and if we go back to the island, we will certainly stay here again.

Wonderful condo at the Elysian

Great condo - nicely furnished with a wonderful kitchen. Everything we needed was there. Easy walk to the beach and easy trip into Red Hook for the restaurants and ferry to St John. Highly recommend this condo!

Everything as advertised

We had a great stay! Everything was as advertised. The condo was very nice! Close to the beach , pool, and sangrias bar/restaurant which we really liked! Also very close to Red Hook where the grocery store is, The host was very responsive to questions prior to and after arrival! Only negative was the Sargassum (Seaweed) was in Cowpet Bay when we were there so we didnt get in the water much at our beach but wanted to check out all of the others anyway.

40th Anniversary Celebration

The Elysian is the perfect place to vacation on St. Thomas. Their beach is beautiful with comfortable seating options. The swim area is large and there is excellent snorkeling right there. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub most evenings. The views from the large decks are amazing. We love to sail and were able to join the St. Thomas Yacht Club located a few minutes away for 30 days. The grounds are lovely and the building well maintained. You’ll be glad you booked your next vacation at the Elysian.

Just amazing! The place looked just like the pictures and more! Great location on the island and the resort had so much to do if you wanted to stay in. The place itself was fully stocked and better than we expected. There was a washer and dryer use and a few sand toys,floats and beach towels. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

The property was beautiful. You could walk to the beach right from the room. And there were two amazing restaurants right on the resort. Beware there are a lot of stairs and hills for those who may have trouble with that. All in all 10/10 would definitely go back.

Amazing 5-Star Stay

My stay at the Elysian Resort exceeded my expectations. The beach was amazing, dining was amazing, close to Red Hook ferry. I will stay in this condo during my next trip to St. Thomas. The owners were accommodating and responsive. GREAT STAY, 5-stars would give it 10 if that were possible.

Beautiful inside and out

The condo was bigger than we expected and having 3 bathrooms when 5 women are getting dressed was a bonus. The beds were comfortable and the hot water seemed to be endless. The view from the balconies was my favorite part for sure. The beach was nice but the rocks made it a little uncomfortable so we didn't enjoy the water there much but it's close enough to the other beaches we wanted to visit so not really a big deal. Definitely would stay here again.

Great for Families - Condo & Location

The complex is great - well maintained, updated, nice beach, restaurant, and pool. Lots of places in St. Thomas look pretty used or are not the best for families. The condo is outstanding for families. It is very large with 2 bedroom suites (each with a full bath) flanking the main room with a full kitchen area and another bath. The 3 separate balconies were great, and the unit had a nice view. The condo is nicely updated. The hosts were helpful. We loved the location for our first trip to USVI as we did 2 day trips with our car to St. John. We also explored St. Thomas extensively for our other 5 days. This ranks as one of our best trips ever as a family out of other places in the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and most of the continental US.
