The cottage was very clean and convenient to the beach. It was comfortable overall. Upon arrival there was a strong odor (cleaning products?) that gradually dissipated as we aired out the space. Unfortunately, the online description was faulty. The kitchen was supposed to have a Keurig coffee maker and it had a regular Mr. Coffee-type maker. This affected what we brought with us. It was described as having a washer and dryer and it didn't. Our biggest disappointment was that it was described as having "Outdoor Space"--a porch or lanai. We love to be outdoors when the weather is nice, especially while we have morning coffee. The garage apartment is rather cave-like and being able to sit outside is important to us. Also, instructions on how to use the door lock beyond just the code for entering would have helped. We've used these locks many times, but this one was different in how to lock it when leaving the apartment. We could tell that the owner was thoughtful in how the studio apartment was appointed (very tasteful), but having accuracy in the description is essential.
