Older but quaint building. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, from front desk to pool bar and restaurant which were also excellent, convenient, and tasteful. great location in the city. Parking was available, looked limited but was always able to find a spot. Would definitely visit again.

I was upgraded to a bigger room which was amazing. This was my first time staying there. I usually stay at the Hollander but from now on I will be staying at the Avalon. The complimentary wine and champagne from 5-7 is also a great bonus. Will definitely be staying there again soon

What a lovely little stay! Great location, can walk to a lot of local bars/eateries nearby. There is a free shuttle service that’ll take you anywhere within 10 blocks of the hotel, and they’ll pick you up too! Steve, the shuttle driver was so kind and gave us great recommendations on what is around town. Our room was clean and very comfy. We will absolutely be coming back to stay.
