I loved that you have access to the pool next door! The staff at the Avalon were very friendly, and the Hollander next-door was very reasonably priced and had delicious food! Don’t miss out on the drinks at the pool bar! We would definitely stay here again. It’s within walking distance to everything.

Best Stay in St. Pete So Far!

THIS HOTEL ROCKS! They provide access to the pool next door at the Hollander, and we were given complimentary white wine on one of the nights. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, but plenty of dining options, and the decor is kitschy and fun. Parking is included, which is great for this area.

We were there to celebrate our graduate. The Avalon hotel was very clean, with friendly staff, and the location was great for our agenda. The decor was nice, the rooms are painted pretty dark, not a lot of room light unless the curtains/blinds are open and we were first floor, so that didn't happen. The bathroom was very small, but workable if you're adaptable to using the ironing board for a counter. My husband doesn't need much space so he was fine. My only other downside were limited access to wall plugs! But I usually plan for that, I require several electronics when traveling. I carry a 6'ft extension cord (simple/easy) when I travel everywhere! I would recommend the Avalon and definitely stay there again. IMO it was great value for our purposes. Recommend without reservation!

Everything was wonderful....from the staff to the shuttle driver. Coffee was excellent and loved the happy hour. Only real complaint would be the bathroom was extremely small. Hard to go to the bathroom.....especially if you were a larger person. We will defiantly book again. Added benefit is the access to all the amenities next door at the Hollander.

The property was really quaint. The staff was awesome, all the guests I met staying there were very happy with the property. The only draw back was the parking. Very well lit up in the main parking lot between the two hotels but if you didn’t have one of those spots then you had to park pretty far away…. But well worth it!!
